I've had my eye on this set. it looks good but definitely needs mods to improve functionality. For what you paid, I think it's a good value. There's another MOC of this specific movie tank that cost a lot more and looks better. It's cheaper than Lego but, still pricey. I'm going to wait for that version to be available with a good discount.

Yes, this is a decent tank for the price paid for. Of course, like you said there are better versions of this tank, but comes at a price. This one succeeds in being affordable and still iconic
