Thanks for uploading the review Michael! I'm aware of the issues you mentioned in the instructions and I'm working on a fix. I'll be uploading the v2.2 instructions soon which will also improve a couple of parts on the tank, mainly related to color variations, exterior details and making the periscope hatch sturdier. Don't worry, you won't have to take the whole tank apart this time, but these 2-3 tiny details will make it even better (this will be the final version, I promise 😂, I just want a clean design to be as accurate as possible to the real tank and I'm very very close) I hope you give this one a try, stay tuned for news!

@@jirihracek I hope to release them in the middle of august. Regarding the technic part, you can buy it in whatever color you want (dark bluish gray is the cheapest) i put light bluish gray because it looks better in my opinion, but feel free to choose your color! And this applies to all pieces

Now we gotta see a Lego set of the Kali human sacrifice chamber from Temple of Doom, complete with a hole in the floor and a guy strapped to that metal thing and mini figure of Mola Ram with a heart on fire in his hand. Might be a tad gruesome and macabre for a family-friendly company like Lego. 🤔

My son and I watched your video, really enjoyed it. I can 100% understand the drive to get the tank right. Besides action figures, we both collect/build/mod Lego sets. It's a pain in the ass to gather the pieces, but the end result is very much worth it. The Lego Piece Gring is real! Also, my kiddo wants to do this tank build, and I told him he'll need to get a job. I deal mainly with castle sets, and he already maxed out our tan and sand color pieces with Indy set ups.

Excellent video as always Michael. I am 53 years old. It is so amazing how LEGOs have evolved over time. When I was 8yo, a year after I saw STAR WARS, I tried to make an X-Wing out of LEGOs, and as you can imagine, it looked pretty pathetic and because LEGO pieces only attached in one direction at the time, the sad excuse for the lower s-foils fell off way too easily.😄 Keep up the Awesome Work! I genuinely loved this video. Adam Savage said once that any story can be interesting if it happens to someone who is interested in it. The adventure of not getting all the lego parts needed for a custom moc may seem mundane or silly, but the care you had for it plus the sentimental and relatable story at the end tied everything together into a story I got invested in. Thank you for this awesome video, I'm excited to watch more!

I guess it can be said my husband was influenced by both his father also ex-military and Indiana Jones. My husband also speaks Japanese fluently Swazi,Dutck Afrikaan and German. Really good video, Lego MOC's are indeed a very useful way to get models of vehicles and characters that never have gotten a good toy. I had to substitute my own Daleks out of Lego in lieu of Character options Daleks not being available in my area and being expensive to import. I was able to build The Supreme, Imperial, Special weapons and a Emperor Dalek from evil of the daleks. Also I was able to engineer a pretty convincing mechanoid as well

Michael, if you are not already aware, there are a number of third-party businesses out there making custom armored vehicles and military aircraft sets using real Lego pieces. These companies sell fully prepared model sets with all the parts and instructions included. They are of course more expensive than buying a typical parts list on your own might be, but it’s some cases it’s well worth it to get everything in hand at once. Search for “The Brick Show Shop,” “Battle Brick Customs,” and “BrickArms” to start with. Doubtless there are others, but I’ve made purchases from those 3 and have never been disappointed. And I have no affiliation with any of these businesses or any other.

On one hand I can understand why Lego opted not to make this tank as it would go against their anti-military rule, but then again, the Flying Wing and the vehicles from Crystal Skull say otherwise.
