I think the OH is stronger than OR. R has a +I effect on O, H has no effect on O. The same is for CHO, stronger than -CRO, R having +I effect on -C=O.

Wow!this is so interesting...It has been 5 years since I passed engineering and now work in IY sector...I wish such things were present when I gave class 11 in 2011. All the time we had to listen to a boring teacher and could not understand head or tail of what is going on in Organic Chemistry and barely managed to secure pass marks.Things would have been so different had such things existed back then.Maybe in next life!!!

Sir at 32:35 arrange in order Negative charge is more stabilised over O so it will donate less electron as compared to ch3 so ch3 should be stabilising more as compared to O
