​@@brayanescobar5150 so this what im about to say is the explanation but it has spoilers for future events don't read if it you dont want to get spoiled great sage is a skill that originally had no ego it was merely a skill that presented itself by copying the voice of the voice of the world you can even see this since great sage speaks more mathematically and robotically in the first episodes (great sage copying VOTW is why until GS/Raphael's final evolution she speaks the same way/very similar to the voice of the world) as rimuru evolved great sage began to form a weak ego you can see this happening after rimuru eats the orc disaster where she still speaks a bit more personally but still doesn't do stuff of her own volition great sage's ego climaxes during the harvest festival where the skill out of its own volition petitions the words of the world to attempt evolution into raphael if great sage didn't do this rimuru's evolution would've only granted him the demon slime intrinsic skills and resistances and no ultimate skills as raphael the skill itself tries to deny the fact that it became its own entity within rimuru with its own personality despite sometimes acting on its own (the anime even made raphael's voice actor speak with more emotion to make this more clear while still delivering robotic sounding lines) and finally way later in the LN during volume 15 rimuru renames raphael into ciel which no longer has the robotic way of speaking with the "Notice:" at the begining of sentences (most probably if the anime reaches this point ciel will speak without the robotic voice filter as well similar to how raphael spoke while reviving shion and the others)

Luminous using "Embrace Drain" did in fact help Veldora in the end as it did "burn off" the excess energy he had that was about to "spontaneously combust" according to Raphael. If you want a unique skill,you should have a very strong desire to get it or you can level up by fighting/experience. The only reason Luminous is dominating Veldora is that Veldora is not really fighting back .... at least in the Anime ... in the novel there was some sparing level fighting going on, with Rimuru using Ultimate Guard to protect the city from collateral damage .... one reason the Crusaders accepted so easily ... the fight was happening at crazy speed and with energy emitted off the scale ... basically Luminous showed off strength worthy of being called a god This episode really reinforces to me that the anime writers dont really care about characterization .... they just mix and match the Manga and the novel with little rime and reason ... The Animation and Sound guys they are doing an excellent job .... the writers I just really dont know what they are thinking at times ... Start of the episode: Rimuru: " I am not letting Hinata die" 7 min in also Rimuru ... Drops Hinata on the ground not caring what happens to her .... I know this is from the Manga bit it does not make sense there, its even worse in the manga ... it does not make sense in the Anime .... They cant claim they are just following the manga, as the sequence of events comes from the Novel .... ie things like when we switch from Rimurus part to Diablo etc ... And in the novel Rimuru never lets go of Hinata ... as his focus is on keeping her alive ... even attempting to give her an artificial heart like he did to Mjuran ... but it not working well because of her resistance ... Its not like you could not use that to give Rimuru the window to leave her for a bit ... show him putting the heart in realiying it will not last long and going to the Geezers to resolve this quickly .... Alternatively have Rimuru get a shocked expression, lover Hinata down then with a furious face close in on the 7Days ... to imply that Hinata just died - but Rimurus reaction must be adjusted to fit the scenario .... After their disintegration failed ... there is not reason for Rimuru to step up ... since, Beni Shion and Soei are enough to take the trash out ...

FYI : Tensura has one of the most or most broken power system in anime, the magic is actually so much complex and broken, and The Voice thing is one of the part of power system called "Voice Of The World" granted to every being to control and optimized skill and abilities for magic, this voice manifest the desire of the user into skill, that's why tensura characters are so overpower on a conceptual level, reality bending and law manipulation stuff in each skill and this is just the basic, the anime cut so much stuff
