Wow! Thanks for posting this. I appreciate your effort. Man, I remember my brother blasting this album in the summer of... maybe '84? And when "Helter Skelter" came on, my mother said, "You know that that's a song by The Beatles, right?" My brother and I said, "No, way! That's not true! The Beatles could never be this cool." (Of course, now I love The Beatles, but 11-year-old me didn't want to hear it.)

Intro guitar is very similar to Lita Ford's "Close Your Eyes Forever", definitely some inspiration going on there. Great choice doing this tab, have you thought about doing Nona off of Girls? It's a fairly similar guitar part.

It's in E standard (but not A440, probably slightly flat or sharp a few cents unless it's the modulation in the lead guitar making it sound a bit off) unless you put on a capo at the 2nd fret (for the acoustic) and transpose everything up a whole tone.

thank you for this I am a total newb and have a question if this is in A minor (ie no sharps) than why is there a G# in the fourth measure the #1 fret of the G string (that's the best way I can explain my question)

The Harmonic Minor scale includes a # 7th note in the scale.
