God Day | My Will be done

This episode of God Day provides a critique of the modern day 'Me' religion fueled(even rocket-boosted) by modern social media. Tim Vince gives an alternative Lord's Prayer according to this religion (noting that even the concept of worshipping a ‘Lord’ beyond self is rejected in the Me religion). A religion where the worship of a Father God who created us is replaced by a Mother Earth or Mother Nature purported to have been 'discovered' by human science and research and therefore yet another a front for the worship of the achievements of man. My Will be Done is the key phrase of this religion replacing humility before a loving God. My kingdom come meaning self must be in control of its own selfish fiefdom. All is mixed in with psychology which was once described as the Cult (or religion) of Self Worship. My career, my achievements, my enjoyment, my identity, my gender choice replacing identity within a righteous framework provided by a Holy and loving God. This parody of a prayer shines a light on the inadequacy of explanations for our existence that do not include God.
