Since Wommack gives pre-eminence to God's Word as authoritive, because it is, he speaks and emanates authority given from God. If you confess Me before men, is confessing the whole Jesus. Have mercy on us when we fall short.

God doesn’t allow or use suffering or pain to teach us or mature us. That is what the Holy Spirit does as we renew our mind ro the Word of God. Jesus say, the thief comes but to steal kill and destroy and Jesus came to give us abundant life. Suffering and pain are NOT abundant life. Read the Word and you will see that in the NT which is our covenant through Jesus. This is the whole message here.

God's not evil, but he allows it in this fallen world. He can protect us from it and deliver us out of it - if we pray and cry out (Ps. 34:19). If he is not allowing it and can't stop it, then how is he really in control of anything? Evil would be more powerful than he. True?

Andrew seems to infer that God does not allow evil. He seems to infer that God can't stop evil even if he wanted to, that it is all up to us.

The question is who is responsible for evil, well you've got this god, who was the only thing that existed prior to the universe according to Christians. He created the world exactly as he wants it to be. He created human beings exactly how he wants them to be and human beings in the world produce evil and of course this was not a surprise, god doesn't just know what he's doing in the moment , he knows the future as well. He knew what was going to happen. So he created the world, he created humans knowing perfectly well that the end result of this is gonna be a bunch of evil, in the Christian world view objective evil and he signed off on that and said yeah that's exactly what I want, let's go ahead and create that and somehow despite this the argument is being made that god is not the one responsible for the consequences. I don't see how that makes sense, he intentionally creates an evil world and he's not responsible for what he intentionally did.

@@keithmatswimbo7083 I was talking about the all powerful and all knowing Christian god who sees the future with perfect clarity and his will be done. So I don't know what god you are talking about here but that is not the Christian god. The Christian god is claimed by it's followers to be all powerful and all knowing. So of course this god would have known even before he made Lucifer that he would rebell and become Satan. This wasn't a surprise to this god - being all knowing and it was therefore his will that evil came into our worldn would be done. If god didn't want Satan & evil to exist in our world he would not have created him via Lucifer in the 1st place. The good news is there's no good evidence that Satan or any gods exist. I mean what kind of god threatens you to believe in him under pain of eternal torture just for not believing in him and doesn't even have the courtesy to provide everyone with just one GOOD piece of evidence that he exists. Last note: Natural explainations well explain why evil exists in our world.
