Glad he’s a captain in this one I hope he’s alive with his unit on GE 3 but then again plot armor the whole squad is probably alive since on the GE3 soma ark Lindow is still alive meaning the whole squad from the 1st and second games and including the mobile game characters are alive since the mobile games are part of the sequel to GE 2 timeline and prequel to GE3
