This hit me so hard the 1st time I saw it. Blood was a unit they looked out for eachother. So to see one of them just die just like that hit me so hard. It made me realize that we're just people and with 1 slip up,that's it no second chances. After replaying this masterpiece again this year it still hits me just as hard if not more so.

I know this comment was a bit late, but the fact that one of them died like that was also something that Rachel intended to do in the first place. Even more, God Arc Soldiers project and even Blood Unit are but sacrifices to turn Julius into singularity all along.

@@Zeronigel332 Actually it is Erin singing. Both versions are sung in English but by different people. You can find the Japanese version and compare the two to hear the difference. Seems odd but it's the truth.

I know how Romeo felt, even if I am at the opposite of his spectrum. Sure, I have academic smarts, creativity and politness, but without those, how can I really make it in the world ? I don't know how to cook, don't know how to organize my clothes, I'm average at best when it comes into calculating my money, I barely go out, I'm afraid of driving, and at social communication I'm like either Ciel or Julius (unless it's oral presentations, I rock at those) ! I don't regret having the virtues I possess, but I wished I had more practical competences besides talking and writing. The world will certainly find a way to chew me alive. I think this is one of the reasons I liked him more than Kota. For me, Kota was a lost cause right at the beginning. Not even his story with his family managed to make me like him or his personality, due to the fact it felt a bit too superficial, due to the fact I don't agree with him trying to glorify their world's past/our world's present (I shared more the scientist's opinion regarding the Aragami and the humans), and I think he was using his family as an excuse to justify his initial cowardice, that's all. Because if he stopped to think, he would see how he wasn't helping his family. But Romeo... His personality felt like it had an actual purpose, even before his moment with the old couple. And despite being my opposite, I did relate to him a little. And I find his relationship with Julius and the vice-captain interesting. While it is not explicit, it's pretty clear they mean a lot to him, so much so, that you could say his love for them could CRUSH the young man.

What kind of game is this?

God Eater is an action role playing game with hack and slash like mechanics. It's real time battle, not turn based and there are a bunch of different weapon types to try out. I would say its story driven but there are times when you can do on different missions or just hang out. God Eater 3 has some online interaction.
