Additionally, Enoch Chapter 32 : 6 speaks of "The tree of wisdom of which your father old in years and your aged mother , who were before you have eaten, and they learnt wisdom and their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and driven out of the garden . Verse 5 preceding speaks of and " it's fruit is like clusters of the vine " . This is why we must check everything for truth, study to show yourself approved.

The forbidden fruit was not knowledge. The forbidden fruit on the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil was a fig. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was a fig tree. Sometime the truth is right in front of us and we don’t see it. In Genesis 2:17 God said to Adam: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (KJV) Why did knowledge of good and evil result in death?" The simple answer: Because God said it would. Not because he did want us to acquire knowledge but because HE knew man cannot handle EVIL. Only God can handle both Good and Evil. In Genesis 3:22 God says, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil.” Knowledge in itself is not wrong or evil (see Luke 2:52), so what was so bad about man “knowing good and evil”? It is vital to know the context of God’s statement. God had already told Adam not to eat from this tree. Adam was already aware that doing so was wrong, and he knew the consequences, yet he chose to join Eve in eating the fruit. When they ate, they were not simply aware of evil; they experienced evil, to the extent that they became evil-sinners by nature. This is described in Genesis 3:7, which says, "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves loincloths. So, knowing that the fruit was a fig, is not important. Knowing by disobeying God and experiencing evil, to the extent that they became evil- sinners by nature is key.
