Thanks for the discussion on this topic, I could recall in the Bible in the time of Moses when he married the Ethiopian woman and his siblings didn't agree, his sister was struck with leprosy and he asked God to heal her and spared his brother. Jesus said we should LOVE one another and we all need to OBEY. GOD bless you ❤❤

The purpose of not marrying outside of their people was to ensure that outsiders wouldn't bring in their idols and false gods, not to maintain a specific race. That rhetoric that the Bible says not to marry interracially is what contribute to the idea of a supreme race.

LOVE this episode!!! Thank you for reminding others that the concept of race is post-biblical. I’m a skin tone bias researcher plus race abolitionist, and, excluding the sociologists I’ve known, 100 percent of humans I’ve met since 1990 A.D. have no idea that race was invented by several men, starting in the 1500s! Currently, I’m working on a webpage that will dive deep into the mythology of race... Appreciate you both. 💜

The two of you do an excellent job of explaining why the Bible does not define the White race as a superior race, but there is only one race; the human race! You are both so wise and knowledgeable and that make it so obvious why you two are soulmates and you both are meant to be together! I love both of you!

I love the story of the Samaritan women, how Jesus, a Jew, approached a a Samaritan, someone who would never interacted with Jews. It exemplifies the actual gospel, that all barriers are broken in Christ. Sociologist deem race as a social construct, meaning it's something merely socially defined, that we are those discriminate, but not Christ. He made us all one. Father, purify the church from its blindness and cold hearts to LOVE as you lived. I am a black woman (single for now) and have always prayed to marry a white man, or someone outside of my race, to show the world how this can be a beautiful thing before the Lord. It ultimately doesn't matter in the end, but I pray our hearts as the church are tenderized to the truth.

Ppl don't even read the or their Bible, nor let alone know the Holy Spirit to achieve understanding. On the day of judgement the ignorant will stand in Gods face and say, "u said this", and He will reply I never said that..."depart from me you worker of inquity." #gameover

I love that Mina...Study to show yourselves approved, rightly dividing the Word of God, etc...Don't study to be right according to your own bias. At least use a dictionary 😅😅😅 if you don'thave a concordance, Soooo good. To KNOW is to Get Understanding and to get Understanding, Studying MUST be applied, which then Wisdom comes that will guide to direct. The Jokie joke Brydon😅😅😅😅, glad you didn't trip and fall. I love you two.

It is absolutely craaaazzzzy how people interpret Scriptures on marriage. It is sin to marry outside one's race??? Where in the Bible does God say that? Because He told the Israelites not to marry people who will introduce them to foreign Gods? What about Ruth the Moabite who became the great, great grandmother of our Savior? I pray that God's people will stop saying what He has not said. A Christian should get married only to a Christian, period. Whether the other person is white, black or blue is not what matters to God. Can we start focusing on reality and stop holding on to things that do not matter? May God help His church! Mina and Brydon, keep on! God loves you and so do I. Thank your for encouraging us to build bridges; we need this content now more that ever. Hugs and kisses from miles away in Cameroon.

Ruth, Naomi's daughter-in-law, was a Moabite convert after she accepted Naomi's people and God. She did not want to return to idolatrous Moab. Therefore, not anything barred Boaz from marrying her. Naomi's other daughter-in-law, Orpah, chose to return to Moab.

I think people should learn to interpret the word. Marrying your kind means marrying someone you share the same faith.

First there is one race, Human. To be honest we are all just different shades of wheat. Race is a social construct and if God made humans in different shades then why would he have a problem with loving another human in a different shades. Equally yoked refers to belief not color. We should love one another no matter the shade. If we actually have conversations with one another we have more in common than differences.

When the conversation includes GOD, it is different. Most men in our community who marry others are usually bias against their own for whatever reasons. A person has to be spiritually minded to date others because often their perceptions change about their own women after being with another culture. The World 🌎 s view is totally Unspiritual and for the wrong reasons

There are 2 Yokes & 2 Kingdoms in the Entire Universe, and in the World too, THE GODLY YOKE, Within the Kingdom of LIGHT & SATANIC YOKE and The Kingdom of Darkness... And Christ Jesus was clear he said "MY YOKE IS EASY" And he came to Establish the Kingdom of Light; meaning Satans yoke is a heavy/ difficult yoke to bare & its from the Kingdom of Darkness, btw darkness is also an ADUMBRATION OF ABSOLUTE IGNORANCE....

GID ONLY IDENTIFIES PEOPLE AS EITHER BELIEVERS OF CHRIST JESUS OR UNBELIEVERS; PEOPLE SUBMITTED TO TWO KINGDOMS KINGDOM OF LIGHT - WHERE JESUS IS KING... AND THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS WHERE SATAN IS KING.... THATS ALL THAT GOD RECOGNIZES WHEN IT COMES TO THE HUMAN RACE!!! Anything else is the construction of Mans prideful ignorance and figment of Mans Twisted imagination of WHO HUMAN BEINGS ARE!!!

But the very same god who said that is the very same god who married his Queen Ester to a Persian King. And his servant Moses to a black women or a Mesopotamian women. The Bible is not trustworthy material it is deceptive and contradictory. Just like they said love your neigbour as you love yourself but are now bombing and sodomizing their neigbours. They preach a message but do the opposite.
@theoschoendube8 күн бұрын
@@LulamaDabula-p4z God read Esther 2 again. God didn’t marry Esther off to a Persian king. She was involuntarily in captivity. Moses‘ wife being vindicated‘s an object lesson for all the racists who think they’re behaviour‘s normal and can be treated with impunity
