I don't mind the single anime picture and I like the appropriation of the modern manga culture, especially because I think a lot of them carry meaning behind suffering. But I do think this just goes way too far. I'm not sure what part of watching a guy with his skin torn off has anything to do with God abandoning me. I can see it in a vague sense, but it just feels not representative of Christianity in any sense. I appreciate pushing for the format, but we shouldn't go too far. EDIT: just in case anyone makes this point, while there is suffering and gore in the Bible to an extent, this is a wholly inspired and ordained by God depiction of humans, depravity, and sin in a way that historically and spiritually relates to the original story. I have nothing but respect for your channel, and you do give me the daily motivation, so don't take this too harshly! ✝️
