I lost my place, my girl and I broke up, and I was in deep pain from my friends betraying me. I started fasting and I only played this song for 4 days. I rededicated and surrendered my life to Jesus. Hi Jay. I sort of went to church wen I was a kid then left it all. When I came back, What I found helpful wen I needed to be intimate with God was fasting. Found it helped me hear him better. I believe he was always talking but somehow fasting seemed to remove the layers that stopd me from experiencing Him. And its not even works because Jesus talks about fasting in the bible. Not a lot of people talk about fasting now but it's a real weapon and tool to experience the love of God. Praying for you bro. He's never forgotten about you. I could go on and on about how he showed me how he was in my life even though I thought I was as far from Him. He takes His covenant more seriously than we could ever know

Keep building your faith everyday with His Word. Faith is an act of your belief and what you hope for. It is faith that keeps every Christian going so pray to God to give you more faith to keep going even though it seems too hard to do so.It was never said in the Bible that all things will be easy. Even Jesus Himself suffered on earth before He accomplished what He came to do... You'd think , "How did the Son of Man even suffer? He had all the power in His hand to avoid certain things". Yes He did but to accomplish what He wanted to do on earth, he came in human form hence having to live on earth like us. But that was not the point of Him coming to earth. He came to give us Victory,life, remission of sin and also give us fellowship with God... And now that is all we should ever look at...the victory He won for us. The moral of this is that even though he went through the worst (where God Himself turned His back on Him for He carried all the sins of the earth on Him), He thought of the greater things to come. He thought of the Victory ahead. He thought of how amazing it would be to make us one with the Father. It is the Victory ahead that kept Him going. Just be conscious that there is always something greater for you behind that wall. Overcome it first..and you can only do so with the Word of God and acting on it with faith, knowing that He has greater things planned for you!

Exactly a week ago I tried to commit suicide and God said “ I’m not done with you yet” I was in the hospital for 2 days and later sent to a mental hospital for 2 more days where all they wanted to do was drug me with psych medication and I refused! My God is stronger than any, anxiety, depression, medication! I thought I was falling apart and wanted to end everything, All along all I really needed was God. Even though it’s hard still I’m holding onto God Promises! Because he loved me when I couldn’t love my self! He gave me a second chance.
