I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where KZbin started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

For anyone struggling financially, I am in between jobs right now and have a hefty phone bill. My son has had surgery on his pituitary gland before and Saturday he told us that it is back and larger than before and this time he suffers with more severe symptoms than before. The past few weeks I've notice that the Lord had been giving me several desires of my heart and I haven't asked Him for one of them. I've asked Him why do You bless me so much Lord? My Father... This message was so encouraging and helpful -- thank you! It takes an act of the will and determination to believe God's Word above our circumstances after tragedy has shattered our lives. But I walk in faith and declare His love and goodness, nevertheless. Of course, we need hope for the future to keep living this life, that it will not remain gutted and mere, smoldering ashes. Yes, Romans 8:23 and Proverbs 6:31, and Psalm 27:13 and so many other wonderful promises of God to hang onto with all our strength! The goal of the Lord working all things together for good has more meaning and purpose to me when I consider the next verse after this, Romans 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. We are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus and all the stuff that comes at us is used in that process, whether it’s by the schemes of the devil or the discipline of the Lord.
