I know he is with me. God has kept me alive. I want to feel his presence, his love, so I won't feel so lonely. I have no one in my life besides God, and he can't help me with a hug or when you look into someone's eyes and see that sparkle of love for you .really, I don't care about sex I want that companionship

Just watched a scene from the fifth season of the Chosen and I think it goes along great with this video. Jesus admonished one of His disciples (I won’t specify who): “You have a choice to make: who has your heart? I WANT it!” God is desperate to have us come home, and His Son is the manifestation of that love❤️

Since God's plan is to bring me (and you) home, what is there to worry about? God does not fail. All He needs is our consent to let Him do it.

God doing is not a concern. You have your free agency and still need to do your part.

@@ReedAnderson-kl6su Our part is our consent to let Him do it. It is our agency, our will. We have to learn to love Him enough that we voluntarily turn our will over to Him. That's what I was referring to. Everything else falls in place. I have some personal beliefs on how this works that I won't share publicly, but I will say that God will not fail in His plan.

For we are saved by grace… after all we can do. It is only through the Atonement that we are saved, even after all our efforts to be worthy of saving. What a beautiful gift he gives each and every one of us ❤ But I loved your reminder to not be fearful - The Lord is on our side, whom then shall we fear?

@@jseels I agree with you. But what is "after all we can do"? It is surrendering our will to Him, in order for Him to be able to save us. I called it consent. Will is a better term. Agency is a better term. It's true...we are saved by grace after all we can do. But we do not have any power whatsoever to change ourselves. This is what we covenant to do when we take the Sacrament - to be WILLING. King Benjamin's people were "...willing to enter into a covenant". Alma reminded the people of Zarahemla that it was God who "changed their hearts" (Alma 5:7). They didn't do it themselves. And when our hearts and natures are changed, keeping the commandments and our covenants are the natural outcome.

Meanwhile, just as another dose of reality... while we're complaining and wondering and wasting time trying to identify reasons why it is that God hasn't answered our prayers... when I can ASSURE you that He has... He's wondering why it is that we individually aren't immediately answering all of the requests that He has for us 🙏 💡as such are the evidence of those who are not living as witnesses of Him at all times, in all things and in all places, but rather in a few times, in a scant amount of things, and only in certain places 🙏

No matter who you are or what you've done or the kind of life you live, you should never have to have those kinds of worries. That is never okay. Whatever your cross, God loves you too and His plan is for you to find answers and come to Him. All you need to do is to let Him do it.

I included have lived with quite a lot of misunderstanding I have a relative who thinks there is no way for them to walk the covenant path back home but part way. What's the point of that. This and the recent podcasts about love is God's law not reward has really been a major turnaround for my soul. I'm still dealing with things but I have hope in my friend Jesus I'm the hesitant one not Him.

But i want him in my life, but I can't hear or feel him . I know he's there ,he has kept me alive throughout my life. When I wanted too die. My life has been so empty with no meaning. I want to join the church of latter day saints. But I think of failing him. That all I'm good at is failure. I've been alone for so long. I want to feel loved. Like my life means something. I want someone in my life but I think I'm too old. I need a companion and with God to guide me. I am tired of this life. I just exist with no meaning or purpose, and i don't want to live like this anymore, so please, my Lord, hear my prayers and help me to hear you. Aman

He is there with you, especially in your hard times. He is in relentless pursuit of you! Learning the ways you can hear him, and practicing listening then acting on that will help you hear him better. I had to practice it so much, but it is easier now to recognize the Lord's guidance.

Our part is to learn to love God with all of our heart, soul and mind and to love our neighbor as ourself. When we do that, everything else falls into place. In other words, the law and the prophets hang on us meeting that one condition (Matt 22:37-40).

indeed, we as members of the church (ie the body of Christian believers) all must do better . . . there are things going on in the institutional church (not just one denomination, but far too many) that ought not so to be . . .
