This message really gave me confirmation with what God is doing for me! Distraction is no joke. I’m 22 (F) and I’ve been in darkness for some years and sadly by my own family… An old video of hers that I’ve watched not too long ago was 7 days with God removing distractions (sexual immorality, anything secular, and Thanking Him) & my Lord has kept me on that narrow path to do just that and now I’m finally getting twice fold of what I have been waiting for from Him! I’ve never felt so free and happy to just be able to breathe! God has opened so many doors for me for just praising him and obeying Him alone! I’m free from all of my fears, traumas, past, and neglect but the enemy will not stop me this time. You all, Shannon has a gift ! I can’t turn back to my old ways and be depressed anymore. God has a lot stored for ALL of us! Patience and prayer is key, but most importantly fasting,reading the word and repenting are essential. ❤

I journaled about this today. I was sad because I've been watching others progress (job, money, relationship, direction), and I feel like a baby still trying to figure it all out. God said to me- “Do you trust me”? Me- “Of course.” God: “Then trust that I have a plan just for you. There are many things you have to learn first. It takes time to build trust in one another. I have to trust you to deliver my words, and you have to trust the message you receive is coming from me and use your discernment if it's meant to be spoken at that time. One day, you will understand, and it will finally make sense why you had to go through this process.” Now, I understand that everyone's path is different and unique to each of us. Like every relationship, we have to get to know God and his ways before he can put his trust in us. I have to be a faithful servant to the Lord and do what he commands, or he won't be able to trust me with more important tasks.

Oh my goodness. I just finish my 21 day Daniel fast. (Full on, no sugar, rice, flour, meat) oh my word, I've never done this fast before and it wasnt planned. I felt like God has lead me to do it. It was such a challenge for me. I didnt understand the reason for me doing the fast. But I know I was definitely being attack durring it. Specially through my dad.
