As I have journeyed through my time of standing for marriage restoration I have learned so much! My heart's desire is to share those lessons the Lord has taught me with you. My hope is that you will feel encouraged and grow in your faith as you continue your stand and know that you are not alone. Do not let divorce stop you from standing for God’s perfect will. Divorce is only in local courts but not in the heavenly courts. God can and will restore you!!

I’ve been standing for almost two years. The relationship with the affair person ended and I thanked God for answered prayer but he was with girl number two days later. Now it’s only been a few months into that relationship and he’s rushed introduction of our kids they now spend Sundays together doing family days. He announced that they will be engaged very soon. I’m so confused and beaten down. She has three kids and recently divorced. He told her I’m unsafe so even though she’s playing mom to my kids and met everyone who was in our lives for 20 years she doesn’t have the respect to introduce herself. Yesterday he brought her to my house to drop the kids off didn’t even pull in the driveway parked down the street. The disrespect and blindsiding was so triggering. After spending the day parading our kids around my hometown as a family they went and had dinner with her kids! Mind u he has nothing to do with the two teenagers we have. But playing father of the year to her kids and whenever she comes around our two younger ones. I don’t know what to do anymore standing through a second rushed relationship they claim is going towards marriage and has been intrusive into friends and family and my kids is so humiliating and so devastating. How is he working in a second relationship involving all the kids now more trauma and after a few months they know they are getting married ?!?! Makes no sense. Do u keep praying or let go

Yes the disrespect and pain can be overwhelming if we focus on that. Remember your husband is blind and the enemy has him in his grip. This is a spiritual war and you have been given the keys to the kingdom. If you choose to keep fighting and use your authority you will see the victory! Even if he marries the other woman it’s not over. I suggest you pull up marriage restoration testimonies on KZbin and saturate yourself with faith building testimonies. Nothing is impossible for God!!
