What do you do with spouse that says he is leaving in three years. He wants to be financially stable, but he is done with the marriage

Sister in Christ, I have no way to contact you other than this, so I must speak of it, here. Rather than digging up and replanting, you are watering with further prayers. This is not disbelief, it is establishing belief. It is a lie of the devil that we pray once for each thing and stop. God wants a constant conversation with us, is trying to speak with us all the time, tries to answer our prayers, if we will listen to Him. Your teachings have been spot-on until you came to the subject about continual prayer. What you spoke about it, compared to all I know from scripture and how I've learned prayer is supposed to be, injured me in the spirit. I have been praying for an answer for your assertions for three weeks, now, and last night, at my Men's Group, the Spirit gave an answer. Just as your assertions that prayer is a one-time thing have NO Biblical basis in Truth, whatsoever, and because the Lord would not have you mislead His people through an accident of what you feel He is telling you, I will give you an answer based in real-world farming, so you may save this ministry... 1) No one who plants a seed ever digs it up; that would be ridiculous and has no basis in horticulture of any kind; 2) Even if someone did dig it up, the seed has already been nourished and given a spark of life, so it COULD be replanted with little effect on the cycle of the plant; and 3) Rather than talking about digging up a seed and replanting it ruining the seed or stunting its growth, why not address further prayers as WATERING the seed. We are told to pray without ceasing; to come before the throne with boldness. We are told whatever we ask in Jesus' name, as long as it's the will of our Father, we have a proper heart posture and our prayer is not to be used for our own "lusts", and we believe we have received it, it will be ours, or is ours already. Finally, the story of the widow bugging the Judge to get what she wanted was a parable about prayer that Jesus Himself told to those who heard Him speak it. Sister, I hope and pray you will take this to heart and study further on prayer. Has anyone ever considered that we had to be separated in order to be called out? There’s such a thing as an unholy union that is of the will of the flesh (Abraham and Hagar for instance). We are impatient and will often not wait on God. I know this first hand as my wife left me too. It was a carnal union and one that God likely was not pleased with in addition to all else I’ve done until He saw fit to bring about deliverance, but likely had to be delivered first from the Jezebel spirit that was/is my ex-wife.

Yes, that is not Christian hope that "Oh, I wish God maybe will restore our marriage." A lot of Christians say: yes, God exists, Jesus died for our sins. Not saying, oh I wish God maybe exist, or Jesus maybe died for our sins. But the same Christians said, God maybe restore your marriage. 😊 Weird.😊

6 months??? After a marriage? This is a not too good joke from a pastor. But my Christian ex-wife did it. After 11 years of Christian marriage I cheated her. I was fool and converted from this sin and I tired to restore our marriage. She divorced and a few months (!!!) later she started to date whit other men. Sad story. Our Christian friends say this is not good. I am sure these datings were not serious, I saw what cheating does whit women souls, but Christian people can act or advice stupid things.

So many "prophetic" marriage restoration channels are teaching that we have to go thru stages and levels and basically learn many lessons and become perfect in order for God to restore our relationships. My spirit/the Holy Spirit always knew this was a false teaching and belief. I kept saying to myself.. if this is the case, then I'll never be good enough to be restored. This is such a sad unhealthy teaching. God doesn't need us for restoration. He does it in His timing in His way. Not based on any of our merits or deeds. The lessons we learn in life don't merit rewards. So thank you for saying that our restoration isn't based upon what we do or don't do. That is the truth!!!!

Dear Jamie. Pessimism is not good. You are right. But not every fear or negative feeling comes from evil or unfaithfulness. For example, if we are walking in a dark street, it's okay if we fear. If we are surgerions and we stand before a heavy problem, it's okay if we fear. You said every fear in this situation when we want our spouse back comes from evil or unfaithfulness. I don't think so. If your ex spouse founds a new family or the signs are real in this direction, the fear or negative feelings are acceptable. I think it is necessary to distinguish the unreal and real fears.

I've read Scripture telling me that whatever I pray for, and if I believe it will happen, I will get what I pray for. Today, my wife made it very clear, the divorce is happening, and no one - not even God - can stop it. I made God a promise that nothing can make me want to leave Him. But this divorce is making me wonder if He still wants me to be with Him. Here's the kicker. Earlier today, I put ashes on my head, and sat in the dirt to repent. I've also been fasting and praying today for the restoration of my marriage, only to have my wife tell me nothing will stop this divorce. In other words, everything i'm doing that's in the Bible for answers to my prayers, isn't working. What do I do now?

I was married for 14 years, my wife simply left saying she was unhappy for a while, she blocked me on all platforms for 2 months no contact,she lives far away in another city,I'm a Christ loving prayer worrier but not seeing anything change...I believe God will restore this marriage and I battle to sit around and wait when I don't see any change

I am having so many of my family members come against me once I told them I was no longer filing for divorce because i feel it so strongly in me that God doesn’t want me to file and instead wants me to stand for my marriage. They believe I am making a huge mistake, one because he is an unbeliever and two because he was living in adultery. I have forgiven him for everything and at one point even accepted where we were but right before he was to get summoned I felt God telling me not to go through with it, and this is when my family started saying things like maybe i heard God wrong and i may be misinterpreting the word or im making a big mistake. 😓😪

The word "if" is stupid here: "If God wants to save all souls. "... 2. Particular frame. God wants to restore all damaged Christian marriage. Yes. Word if is stupid as well. Example: "If God helps me financially, I will believe in him." 4. Personal message. God leads us in a personal way, not in general only. Yes, correct. The word if is correct (not a sign of unfaithfulness): "If I INTERPRETED God's message CORRECTLY..." 😊 A little fun. A Christian girl asked God, showing her the future husband. The divorce went through a month ago over a zoom call. I was never notified. Didnt even find out until a few days ago when the ex told me she was showing the house to a realtor today.
