Hello, I slept in my fallen state, with a married man and we conceived a boy, (7). I became born again by watching Chris LaSala's channel on masturbation. After getting the shock of realising this can take you to hell I decided to stop it and God delievered me withought me asking Him, on the 3rd night, of the sin of masturbation. Onan was not killed for masturbating. Onan accepted and took the responsibility of providing a child to Tamar in place of his brother. This was part of the custom at the time and was the responsibility of the unmarried brother to "replace" the brother who died in a marriage and could be refused, but was accepted by Onan. He does NOT say you cannot interpret his words. John is talking about numerology, which is EXTREMELY important in understanding the Book of Revelation. Twice in Revelation John writes that you need "wisdom and understanding". Both times he is talking about numerology. Primarily, John is warning translators they must translate word for word.

You are correct, Shelah never interacted with Tamar. In fact, that is how he broke the law. He was required to marry her, just like Onan before him. Contraception by no means is 100%, But the most of methods are about more than 95%.
