I first heard this song two years ago today. I was on a work break and it came up on KZbin music. I felt the presence of God so strongly and listened to it several times. What I didn’t know then was how true those words “some through great sorrow but God gives a song…” would be for me. My dear saintly mother passed away unexpectedly that night. I believe God gave me this song for these past two years, as he’s led me along through a dark night.
