Yeah, i was one of those people who tripple crowned itto immediately after release. I dont care if he was meta or not. When i first tried him, i was so surpised to see 65k damage (that was before i built gorou). Im so confused where that damage came from. After another domain run, i figured out it was ushi. Now that i have gorous e at lvl 12, ushi can do over 100k easily.

Other advantage is that it will also give back some energy and you can easily fire it off at least 2 to 3 times per burst after each charged attack run...won't be huge amounts of energy but it's still a slight bit...tie it together with an offscreen skill from another characters (especially Albedo's E) and you'll get energy back pretty fast while doing huge amounts of damage with each E (roughly 5x that of his normal attack...hell i'd say 8, 10, 10 for his talents would be best for players with enough resources to get 2 crowns but don't want to go further than that).

Been playing around with Itto for the last week and he needs at least 120% energy recharge and Gorou as battery with favonius\sacrificial bow and a ton of er too. That's his biggest problem, especially with bosses when there is no external particles from dying mobs. Even in his quest where he has 135% er it feels like not enough...

Tbh, beside of Baal, Itto is my fav character so far. The first 5 Star I ever C6. Great personality, nicely balanced, no bugs/not broken. Kit working as intended, constellations making sense and fun/smooth gameplay. Just great designe. Didnt think MYH would be able to put out charcters like this anymore, looking at their mediocre history lately. Lets hope they keep it up for 2.5 and onwards:D

Idk if it is bug or intentional but when you do a quick burst button (alt + 1,2,3,4 for pc) inside gorou's buff Field, it doesnt get counted or itto's burst doesnt snapshots when you do that so you have to manually switch to itto and manually cast his E burst in order for the DEF buff to snapshots

@@cantthinkofaname9736 not a bug. He snapshots his defense for his attack buff on cast. If you burst instantly, there will be no time for the def buff to affect itto. Beidou has a similar problem with bennett because gorou and bennett's buffs don't apply instantly.

moga here's one tip to use itto's burst more smoothly: when he's on burst state his first, second and third attack will each give him 1 stack and the forth will give you 2, so by doing his whole combo you get the maximum number of stacks and you can just start charging away. one thing that you can also do is trying to avoid HP as much as possible so when you cast his E the little bull disappears pretty quickly (cuz Ushi inherits 100% of Itto's HP), which is good cuz it'll give you 1 stack for casting him and 1 for him disappearing. This way you can get 2 stacks without having to do his last attack which is nice cuz the animation takes too long. So the preferable combo would be: elemental skill, 3A and that should give you the 5 stacks, granted Ushi disappears in the midst of all of that (best to do when you're surrounded by opponents for obvious reasons).

Use Ushi after he uses his Burst. You can use Ushi twice during the burst, it hits harder than Zhongli’s meteor and generates a very decent amount of energy. Doing this, by the time the Burst runs out, the cooldown is about done and you’re almost recharged

How to get your bursts pretty much instantly: Use Noelle as Healer/shielder (biggest advantage she has is being able to fit both roles) and Raiden as the non geo party member. Only have Gorou at C0 so not sure if his C4 healing on his burst will be decent enough for him to be the sole healer. Could also choose to drop Gorou as well or the 3 Geo buff for Albedo (if you have him) or Ninnguang to act as a Geo battery if you don't want to use Raiden in that party (but ya if you use Raiden and can hit multiple enemies with her burst and still be able to hit them with the normal attacks while infused with Electro you can take all characters' energy, even her own, from empty to completely filled in those 7 seconds).

I have Itto on a straight Geo team where he is my main dps, Albedo is my second dps with AOE damage, Zhongli as my tank and Gorou as my battery and healer. Now Gorou isn't a great healer by any means but it does help a bit whenever the team does take damage. With my team set up like this everyone generates their burst every 6-10 seconds. Thats basically how I'm able to get consistent burst damage with Itto. Maybe try that or something similar?

Fastest way to get your burst up is with Electro MC + Fav Sword. Good for overworld team where everything just dies in one hit and you don't need more dmg. It's a one tap to get full burst. In the abyss you don't seem to have any issue so just keep using what you had.

The current blessing in abyss also adds another 30% to charge attacks as long as you are near a geo construct. And his bull is counted as a construct. So I feel like after this patch ends he will be a good bit weaker than it appears. He is really fun to play though and it's a fresh play style that is unique. I really am liking how his combos work. You can dash between hits normal or charged and even use the bull. I believe that's the best combo immediately after burst n1 skill then another normal into charge. And get the bull twice during his burst.

If you want a way to get itto burst more consistently try to give gorou A LOT of energy recharge and favonius warbow so you can funnel particles into itto. Also, if you use albedo E before Itto Q you will get the particles from the Isotoma explosions. Also Also, start and end your burst with Itto's E to get the most particles (and damage) In a 3 or 4 geo comp this should help permanent burst.

To get Itto's burst faster: 1. Around 130 er should be enough 2. Albedo is a great battery, and he benefits a lot from Gorou's buff. That would mean either going full geo or taking out Zhongli for Diona. 3. Particle funneling! Whenever you get geo or neutral particles, immediately swap to Itto to catch them. Getting particles directly gives more energy.

Hey Moga! C0 R1, triple crowned Itto main here. Here are a couple of points, if you're interested: 1. You'll do a lot more damage if you deploy his E within his burst. Ushi's multipliers are crazy and at talent lvl 10, he can deal up to 120k-130k damage per E. Timed correctly, you can throw two Ushis within his burst; that's two literal nukes in 11 seconds. 2. I would advise against using Noelle because she requires field time, plus she's quite energy-hungry without producing any particles herself. 3. Favonious Warbow is currently Gorou's BiS because of the huge amount of ER it gives. I run my C4 Gorou with Favonious Warbow, and 2-piece Emblem/2-piece Husk, 202% ER total. This way, Itto's burst is always ready right off cooldown. 4. You might want to place Itto in the second slot of your party. With the way the 4-piece Husk set works, the time it'll take you to start the Abyss run or any other boss run with Itto in the first slot, you'll be losing stacks. Those stacks can be gained back up while he's off the field. Keep Itto in the second slot, do your support rotation, and then unleash Itto's burst. That way, when you start charged attacking, you'll have not only Gorou's buff/Zhongli's shield/any other buffs you might use, but also Husk's full stack which is amazing for Itto. 5. My Itto is C0 but I did play with a C2 Itto on a friend's account. His C1 helps you gain stacks a lot faster which means you don't have to worry about keeping them up during his second charged attack combo within his burst. And his C2 completely removes his energy issue, especially in a mono-geo, or triple-geo team, effectively solving his biggest problem and turning him into an unstoppable powerhouse. Similarly, if you do end up getting C6 Gorou, the numbers that impressed you in your Abyss run (and they really were impressive) will explode even more. We're talking about 45k-60k per charged attack with 85k-100k final Kesagiri slash. I hope you have fun with your Itto! ^-^

Effectively he is noelle if she was pure dps instead of a jack of all trades (master of all). Higher atk, higher base def (though slightly less because of no 30% def buff) increased critical hit rate, faster attacks, higher damage scaling, but he loses out on her tanking ability and healing and his ult scales slightly less than hers. He even needs less investment to deal more damage due to his Constillations only giving him lesser effects so he is strong out of the box while noelle needs her c6 because it is a huge buff to her sweeping time. (Of course you still want to get him to c6 because he gets a large amount of crit damage for his charge attack and +3 lvls to his ult but it's much less of a boost)

If you want his ult up faster, Albedo is a good battery for him (and can also benefit from Gorou) or just more ER, I think at least 130% is needed

moga you might wanna put favonuis on gorou and give him crit rate so he can generate particles for itto. and even if all of that is not enough, give ning faovnuis codex or zhongli favonuis lance or noelle favonuis greatsword. also moga ittos burst snapshots defense so be sure to get all def boosts before doing his burst so gorous buff and husk stacks. (Snapshot means that any changes to def after using burst wont affect his boost anymore whether negatively or positively)

Try and run gorou 2 piece husk and 2 piece emblem it will give gorou more er so itto can do his burst more. And also the def boost from the husk

i ran itto/albedo/zhongli/gorou in abyss and they murdered everything so fast i didn't even need a healer, even with corosion. i don't think a single room took them more than 30 seconds to beat. having albedo in your party can help with itto's energy too. my itto only has 130% ER and his burst was pretty much always available. edit: i have constellations so thats probably more of a reason why i don't have energy problems on him so take what i said with a grain of salt lol.

Instead of HOOD on Gorou I would reccomended 4 piece noblesse instead for additional attack bonus to your team. The bonuses 4 piece Husk provides are useless for support gorou unless you have c4
