Interesting I took the challenge upon myself so I paused and I worked out correct answer but in a very different way, here is how I did , I assumed that Mike was travelling at 10mph, so Josh had to be doing 4/5 of this speed which is 80% of 10mph so Josh is doing 8mph, but when Josh met Mike he had been travelling for twice the length of time, so let us assume in 1 hour Josh covered 8mph x 2 = 16 miles, and Mike covered in that same time period of 1 hour 10miles, so altogether both covered 16 + 10 = 26 miles, so we scale it to fit within the actual distance between the two starting points which is 13 miles, so we take 26 total assumed distance divide by 13 actual distance we come to a factor of 2, so now we know we have scale the assumed distance travelled by each by a factor of 2, so assumed distance Mike covered was 10 so actual distance is 10 divided by 2 = 5 . so consequently Josh would have covered 16 divided by factor 2 so Josh did 8 miles. and Mike did 5 miles when they met. I could not have done this using algebraic method as Prof Bari did. To solve some problems you can by assuming one of the components if I may call, in this case i assumed a speed of Mike as 10mph, you could assume any speed like 10mph or 20mph and you would still get the same answer. And I could not solve the last one as I didn't even understand the question, but later on Prof Bari explained very well. Genius young man.

i really dont think this kid is worthy if the title PRO in maths let alone God of Mathematics. I know some people who were doing calculus at the age of 10/11 and they still refuse to call themselves pro I maths or physics because they know that they have a pretty long path ahead and they don't want to be delusional about their future career.
