+Alandra Brawner That was part of the story not a mistake by the game designers. Its why the game is called god of war. He blames the gods for killing his wife but in reality... its him and its undying anger. Gaia even said very slowly and carefully. Remember cratos you can go back to any point in time.... and what does he do? He goes back to a point to save his own life and kill Zeus instead of going back to a point to save his wife. He is completely blinded by his own hatred and... well... everything.
