Take into consideration that kratos went to Midgard, spent over a hundred years there before meeting Laufaye, Atreus was born somewhere along that time, he then went to helheim and the second he saw even the slightest inkling of zeus’ presence IMMEDIATELY squared up for a fight. He even asks mimir what’s over there when he see’s zeus could still be around in some facet or another. It had been almost 2 centuries at that point since kratos killed zeus and he still was ready to fight the second he saw him. Even though I loved Chris Judge's performance, I still would've loved to have seen TC Carsons attempt. A lot of people say that carsons voice was perfect for a blinded with rage kratos and chris judge is perfect for a wiser kratos. However, 2:20 gives us a glimpse of what and older kratos with tc carsons voice could've been and honestly, I dig it.

Yeah. Overall I would've felt so much connected to the older kratos through the new games. He only has white paint and a red stripe. Visually and through audio, I don't see a connection between the two eras Maybe they wanted somebody with a deeper voice to deliver the mental effect of kratos being wise and all. But they did Carson dirty. He played a calm kratos in ascension just fine

Saint Link But he IS a child in comparison with Zeus's age and experience. IMO it is a great line (followed by a great scene) that shows how much Kratos is overpowered by Zeus's might. Kratos is strong and powerful, but he is also impatient, impulsive and not very smart (generally characteristics of younger folks), while Zeus does not possess any of these weaknesses.

+Sérgio Alexandre Still sounds ridiculous to me. I like the series but this game is not very good. The first one had it all, in my opinion. Great dialogue "Ares, The monster you created has returned... To kill you" a gripping story (how and why Kratos is called the Ghost of Sparta still gives me chills) and overall had a more mature tone. This game tries very hard and often falls short.
