WHAAAT!?? THE OPENING OF THE GAME IS SO GOOD THAT THIS IS THE ONLY CRITICISM OF THOSE WHO DON'T LIKE IT LOL. God of War 3 is perhaps the game with the best intro in gaming history. How did they not need to push so hard? You may not be expecting something like this because there is no such intro in other God of War games, but since it is the last game of the old mainstream GoW games, it is really incredible that they did something like this. It's great that they show us a summary of what we did in goW 1 & 2, with PERFECT cartoon animations and the best soundtrack. What else can they do? The guys made the beginning of the game even better by adding an intro. Also, if you don't want to watch it, you can skip it by pressing a single button.

To me, this intro is the perfect way to not only (sorta) bring you up to speed to the most influential moments in the first two games has happened up to this point, but also to just fully immerse you into the Greek Saga of God of War, as this is the end of it all. The furies are dead, the sisters of fate gone, many gods of Olympus dead, and now, the end of it all. The last titan, the last hero’s of myth, and the last gods of Olympus. This is the end of the Greek Saga, and I think this intro highlights it best.
