This game was very intelligent. Expressing the main ideology kratos always had but also showing development of kratos from brutal merciless killer to caring wise father. I can understand god of war fans and there complains wanting more god deaths and more enemy variety but it works for this game as kratos has grown from his youth he is more mature now taking responsibility for his actions and Norse mythology is very large but if they do plan on a sequel I assume they will pull more norse creatures and monsters

The combat in this game is the best I’ve ever experienced. I’m a pretty casual gamer, I’m alright at most games, good at a few. But somehow with God of War… there were so many combos in this game, so many options during combat, and yet I never once got overwhelmed by them. They felt natural and easy to use. They all fit in the flow of the fight and using them almost happened automatically. Honestly incredible what they did with it. Now let’s hope the next one has more finishers, but so far it looks like it will! So yay:)

The elves were hard as hell and a pain in the ass when you had limited skills unlocked but you'll find out their fighting patterns in time.

Its okay, it would of made it a little more fun with the repeating bosses in different templates if the finishers had different animations depending on what your using, Axe, Blades, Fist.
