For my final verdict to the GOW Franchise I would give a 9 or a 10 it had fantastic story boss battles and some puzzles as well even the annoying QTE but it never stop there with the upgrades and it earns a BADASS deal approved.

can you do the full combo from the older gows in this one (the:square-square-square-square-square-and slow mo triangle)? i have been watching a lot of gameplays of this and no one did it. its a shame because it does a lot more damage than the one you end with square "12:43" (this same one but finished with triangle) ps: a cheat i figured out myself: if you tap square while rolling you can roll a lot faster (you will recover faster from rolling to perform another roll) and it works in every god of war .even the first one.

I think that was more of a puzzle boss. By the time you get to the Kraken you’ve already fought 5 bosses on the Island of Creation and you’re not even done yet. I think they wanted it to be quick and easy, although you could remove it entirely and nothing would be lost.

I feel like there should be a game where the last boss has a similar last finishing move, incredibly satisfying for the player, and the character they play as is like snarling and screaming DIE DIE DIE, or something, and we don't even think twice about killing them, perhaps there was a more good and noble ending, but we didn't care, and neither did the character, we didn't try to look for it, the piece of shit we're killing together was torturing us all the game, and it wouldn't be like Force Unleashed 2 where we know there is a better way, and the bad guy (Vader) wasn't making our life hell the whole game, this is the ONLY way in our minds even if there was a good path, and we only snap out of it when we hear and see what our character has become, bloodthirsty and languishing in the death of this most heinous, despicable foe, and only when we and our character see what they have become, do we understand that games are more than games, and enemies don't simply exist to be slaughtered. There you go, I just gave you a classic and original game hook. Go make it real.

domidium Most of his powers were given by Ares (and I think the Furies weren't as powerful as the gods). He killed Persephone with Zeus's gauntlet, I think that weapon is enough to hurt a god, and since Persephone is weak compared with Ares, the weapon had enough power to kill her. Also, when the first game was released, they even didn't know if they would make a sequel
