@@Tony_Baloney_69420 here's the episode plot: Marge dies in the beginning of the "short" and homer and Bart are pretty sad. on a fit of rage to bring marge back, Homer grabs his old WonderBat and bart grabs his slingshot. thenen flanders shows up to the door, and because homer hates him, he beats him to death! together, Homer and Bart embark on a quest across springfield commiting mass genocide to bring marge back. at the end, they never bring marge back but for some reason, she's alive in the next episode. The end!

Homer's not perfect of course, but he IS extremely convincing. What gets me is the writing, whoever came up with this dialogue *gets* The Simpsons. It's like the original team wrote it.
