Blade of Olympus is perfect for rage builds as you can stay in rage the whole fight. Though the damage is little underwhelming compared to wrath. It neeeds to deal at least double the damage for it to be worth using.

Yea you’re right the amount of rage you can regenerate is insane. I feel like they were hesitant to make the blade to OP. I can understand why they wanted it take more skill to use considering all the other rage’s are pretty much already get out of jail free cards lol

They wanted to make it like a 4th weapon, if the damage were higher then it would be too OP. Wrath is meant to be a type of bail out for emergencys

It’s from the Jotunheim enchantment set. It pretty much just matches your rage to however much health you have.

my only qualm with the new GoW titles, in particular the Blade of Olympus, is he swings the sword too damn slow. The fastest attack frame wise is equivalent to the frame data of one of the slower attacks from say Zangief or Ganondorf from SF / Smash. There's no quick get off me. I wish the gameplay and frame data was faster for attack animations and hit detection, even if it meant the whole game was faster including enemies.

The rage is because of the jotunheim enchantment set. It increases your rage capacity depending on how much health you have. I guess the Ares and fate breaker armour just have really high vitality stats.

How do you parry the unblockable "kneel" attack at 1:17?

Kneel dropkick isnt a command grab so you can parry it. For Asgard one, yea gtfo away from that lol.

It’s a bit of a tricky timing to parry those red ring attacks but it can be done with the Blade of Olympus, just have to get used to the different timing. And yes like the other comment said basically any attack that isnt a grab can be parried with the blade. Sorry for the late response
