For anyone who doesn’t know, the shrine that Kratos saw, the one on the back, it depicted him leading ragnarok alongside Atreus, and fighting Thor, and that last painting of Kratos, where he’s gold, It’s the future, it depicts him becoming a god that people look up too, that people pray too, worship, and love, which is something Kratos has never, ever had before, and never thought he would have, that’s why he had that reaction, he was shocked, almost about to cry even, tears of joy. It’s such a touching moment, hits right in the feels. His wife always believed in him, believed he could become better, and he has, Kratos has come so far, he deserves it

I cried. Having played God of War games for many years now, you can see how much shit Kratos has been through. From having a hellish childhood, to losing his whole family to Zeus’ mind tricks, to going mad and literally killing all the gods and destroying a world, to now. Kratos is my favorite videogame character by a long shot.

I love how Hollow uploaded every episode of this game so quickly. Shows how much dedicated he is. As he said, it’s makes you sad and happy at the same time. It hit real hard when Faye talked about grief. And the start of that sequence mirrors the very first scene in GoW (2018). Sindri's red rimmed eyes and disheveled look was incredibly haunting. The whole sequence in Asgard was beautiful beyond words and seeing the prophecy of Kratos being worshipped... man they really done an incredible job with this game. Never in a million years did I believe that Kratos, Ghost of Sparta, Bane of Olympus, Bringer of War, weapon of the gods turned against his creators; would be someone I'd not only come to admire, but genuinely view as a role model. His character development is nothing short of mythical. It easily surpasses Zuko's from Avatar, and I genuinely believe it may even surpass Guts' development from Berserk. Hollow, you're my go-to for any play through and your dedication to this game has been inspiring and difficult to keep up with. (Still at part 15. Will watch the rest of the series. I just wanted to leave a comment.)

I gotta give props to Deborah Ann Woll for her portrayal of Faye. All of her dialogue is spoken in such a warm, gentle tone, which is a huge contrast to the 10 tons of gravel that comes with Christopher Judge's voice lol. And it's not to the point of becoming the "gentle deceased mother/wife" trope that she could have easily fallen into. She definitely has quite a bit of a distinct personality that we get a glimpse of in those flashbacks, hinting at much more than what is shown to us. Makes me wish we'd gotten to see more of her, honestly. And especially her dynamic with Kratos

My cousin always played the God of War series. I never have but watching this Walkthrough, simply amazing. Great characters, well written story and I loved the Sindri's house touch. Seeing everyone sitting together having dinner earlier in the series, had that family touch within all of the madness. First of all, I broke down in tears the moment we saw that last panel of Kratos reacting to see himself being worshipped and loved as a God, after everything that he's been through...I'm just, so glad. So so glad we ended his character story in such a beautiful note and still kicking ass. Having said that, I was so sad to see him and his son separate. I hope one day we get to see Atreus again in a future DLC or another game focused on him and his journey to restore the giant's history. Having dialogue about or Kratos making a cameo too seeing the boy all grown. :') But oh well, loved this game. It went beyond my expectations which were already high. As Brok once said...happy Ragnarok everybody.

I love how when they enter Asgard the game only plays sad and tragic songs but right after Kratos choosing to be better and try to help the innocent and to seek justice instead of vengeance, the game starts playing an epic song again.
