And I thought Freya losing everything and become a Wingless Bird who what's her Wings back was bad enough,Odin turning the Valkyries into Mad Shadows of their former selves and ruining Valhalla in the process of spice is one of the most cruel things he has ever done,but on the other side of this Kratos presence being responsible for bringing Ragnarok much more early and freely the Valkyries is what Odin gets for all of his Sins and actions of bringing consequences and karma that he will pay with Blood.

A great breakdown truly the more of this I hear the more I can't help but think Odin brought on Ragnarok himself. Before he saw the end of his world Odin while cunning was cruel. Yet seeing his end and in his desire to change it he brought on not only his but possibly all the nine telmss demises. I truly can't wait to see what we end up with once we get shoulder the Leviathan Axe and chain up the Blades of Chaos.

I personally think the valkyries will repay Kratos deed of freeing them in the upcoming ragnarok wether by way of helping in the final battle or returning Kratos from death as they sort and cull the dead mimir says when you first go to Helheim, or perhaps Odin hides in Valhalla after he gets word that Kratos has ended Thor and posses the hammer in a desperate attempt to escape his fate and they bring Kratos to Valhalla

I belive it would be due to the fact that Kratos was indeed a mortal when he had caliope as it was well before he made the deal with ares and he didn't become a god until after he killed ares, he was simply The God of Wars champion /servant . However they sort of addressed this in the game when you get mimirs severed head and even when you visit Freya in the woods, they can see the struggle of the mind of a God that believes he is human. Simply put he get sick beacuse Kratos doesn't tell him they are God's and didnt know Fey was a giant either and the sickness could he worse because of the mix of giant and God. Mimir says " I've seen it before, an ailment of the mind expressing as an ailment of the body, but a god believing himself mortal...." I doubt Atreus will get sick in this next one, he's been told of his true heritage and knows he's different know. But I could be wrong on that last bit 🤷‍♂️
