It would have made no narrative or logical sense for us to get the hammer. 1. It had already chosen Thrüd to be its next wielder. 2. The Leviathan Axe is suppose to be its direct counterpart and rival + it would disrespect Kratos' dead wife if he decided to use Mjölnir considering he knows that story behind both weapon. 3. Kratos doesn’t like lighting weapons, he had enough of that electrical bullshit in both the Greek and Norse Mythologies. 4. If you are THAT desperate for the stupid hammer use mods that replaces the axe model.

I’m 100% satisfied with GOW ragnorak and its new Valhalla DLC. And I’m actually on my 6th playthroug. Although imagine if the added all the outfits from before 2018 GOW and just like how we have the blade of Olympus as a rage imagine having Mjölnir or gungnir. That would be badass. But I digress great game at the end of the day.

I predicted the blade return for Ragnarok but it never showed up When I played Valhalla and got the Blade I was so happy. It paired with the Ares armor is unstoppable

Actually after you you fight thor for the first time in NG+ once you reach the lake of nine forge you can find the blue chest next to the forge snd collect it for all the things you have gotten in the dlc of valhalla

You have to open the blue chest at broks or any shop. You can load ng+ for these items

Press Touch Pad and go to weapons or Armour and press the Right stick (Rotate button) To get the sword and the armour go to the shop and open the blue chest! You have to complete the Valhalla dlc in order to unlock though.
