For those unaware: they nerfed both the zeus armor from the transition from GoW 2018 to GoW Ragnarök, and in the NG+ update for Ragnarök, they seem to have nerfed the Flame Whiplash attacks, as they no longer count as combo finisher attacks. In my opinion the Giptumadr's chestplate and berserker gauntlets and waistguard combo remains one of the best builds in the game

@Russian Doge incorrect. I've tried it while having the enchantment that gives the effect of Vidar's armor equipped and it never activates. Prior to NG+, fully charged flame whiplash counted as a combo finisher attack, but not anymore.

One thing I noticed is it doesn’t matter much if you shield bash then flame whiplash. You can only hit him 3 times with the realm shift anyway if you mass triangle or bash. It only really matters on smaller enemies where the bash can actually stun them

​​​@@deusvultpictures6550 I know!! I was thinking it was a bug too, it looks so out of place. I think since the waistguards in general are made up of cloth like material and not metal is why they didn't light up the Berserker piece ....but that particular Waistguard has a metallic finish with the same bumps and rivets on it as the chest piece, they could've easily lit all that up! Instead it looks no different than the lvl 10 appearance. I'm still hoping it's a bug and will get patched soon lol.

Definitely has to be a bug because the flawless waist guard is exactly the same as the normal one plus I see no reason for them not to light it up so hopefully it get fixed in a future update but overall the new beserker set is 🔥

berserker cuirass is alot better than zeus. You can take 3 health bars of a troll with the scorched earth attack using berserker cuirass, while zeus you can only take 1 health bar

Yes. There are no enemies that are completely immune to any status effects, including the hex arrows on berserkers.

So, with NG+ playthrough, when you defeat the berserkers, you get an enchantment that gives Kratos stat boosts. Megin and Garpr are 2 of them you can obtain/2 he has on in video. They're only obtainable in NG+ though, specifically from berserkers.

That’s the scorched earth move in your skill tree. He has the skill unlocked that makes it so you can have your flame whiplash fully charge by pressing triangle after any attack. This means he can do a shield bash, then follow up with a fully charge flame whiplash into scorched earth attack.
