Anyone having trouble getting the gate to open enough, change your graphics to favoring quality. For some reason that makes the cage open all the way. I am SO annoyed. This kind of glitch shouldn't even be a thing lmao.

i’m sure you’ve gotten it by now! but the same damn thing happened to me. i saw in these comments apparently it’s a bug so i had to go into settings and change it to “favor quality” instead of “favor performance”

I didn't kick the chain down myself. Didn't realize there was one there. I haven't been able to get to the drakes nest nor found an alternative route to get back there. Please help

Go back go where you fought the ogres and travel, that takes you back there too.

@@MrHaz1993 I figured it out. You need to go to the singing bowls and change it to daytime so the vines can grow on that bridge where you fought the ogre throwing that rock at you and you can get across that way and go back to kick the chain down.

Use the spear. Aim for the markings on either front leg, then detonate. The drake will fall on its side and u can rush in and attack. When it stands up, the markings will not be immediately visible, give it some time and they'll reappear

5:09 I've lured the drake but I didn't kick the chain down to access the shortcut back to the lair. Is there an alternative path back to the lair? I can't find it.

Luring the Gulon onto the platform doesn't need to be this difficult. Leave the axe where it is then as soon as a gulon steps inside the trap recall the axe to shut the cage.

@@Nazwabezcyfer I was getting SO annoyed at this puzzle. I saw someone else say to change it to "favor quality" for the graphics, so I did. And the gate finally went all the way up on one hit. What a STUPID bug.

I got it open far enough to evade roll under. Then I hit the plate with my are and immediately froze the gear. The dogs will follow you right onto the platform. Roll off and retrieve the axe. It did get frustrating beforehand

@@jamezh2822 I don't think it's actually supposed to be that difficult though. If you switch to quality mode for graphics it goes up all the way like it should it one swing. It seems no matter what a lot of people do, the gates refuse to go up as far as they should, and the dogs will get caught on it, even though there's enough space for Kratos to walk under.

Yeah, I didn't want to say anything either but the drake at Alfheim gave me PTSD flashbacks to cursed and defiled Amygdala it killed me so many times but once I got the thing to take advantage of those markings it was one and done.

Do these drakes not have any glory kills? I fought this drake a few times now, trying to get a glory kill; but to no avail. I just keep killing him. I've tried waiting until he's got almost no health left, then stunning him. But still no prompt. Really annoying. I wanna see some badassery!
