I'm on my second play-through right now because I wanted to try GMGOW difficulty and decided to go with a stun build. It's obviously much less safe than this build and definitely still requires a lot of skill, but in terms of fun, my stun build is unreal. I'm doing finishers on like 75% of enemies and drive up the stun bar on bosses super quickly. When it comes to Amulet, you guys can replace his #6 Celestial Panacea, #7 Poison Protector and #8 Bright eyed-Emblem for a set called Niflheim's to increase your damage output when you're above 75% of your health based on your def which is already amazing.

Also another set which I can not remember that increases your damage output when you are below 50% health. I combined both, used the Steinbjörn armor set and all the realm shift trigger handles. I was unstoppable.

@@soserious5434 used all 3 parts of the chest piece he mentions for 1. all level 9. that and the shield that gives vitality and the attachment that gives an extra 63 defense and all the weapon pommels with what i think is the highest defense modifiers. the sun on that set is utterly insane. the centaur in the boss rush challenge in muspliheim hit me 2 times and stunned itself XD. and with the 75% rune set up obviously using the highest defense ones the more armor i have the more damage i deal. also i think i had around 300 strength as well which easily beats this guys damage. you can most likely use fury as the rage type since it heals you as you attack and you dont take damage during it. if i had to compare it to this build the sustainability is less due to less healing but the defense is off the charts. i also used the 3 jotenheim enchantments to give me even more rage bar and then also used the stavlheim ones to increase my stun damage depending on my defense. so each hit with my weapons caused massive chunks of stun to be added from basic attacks and thats not even adding onto if you make all the skills that can have stun boost have stun boost. you either do that or protection for even more stupidly massive defense. gna was while not tickling me hardly did much. and if you for example switch out the jotenheim enchantments with things like the one where you get soul steal from rage stones and heal stones you can also get healing from fury and that more or less rivaling this healing build somewhat.

I have to admit that I was impressed with this armour because I have spent over 70 hours with the game, I have done all the quests and I have found everything there is to find, there is nothing left to do, the platinum shines beautifully so the only thing left to do is to slaughter the next wave in the arena and this armour is perfect, it makes a very difficult level very easy, well done mate, as you wrote /you can't die ;)

One thing that annoys me is that you can't fast travel just by going to the map and picking one of those portal locations. You literally have to go to it and activate where you want to go which makes backtracking after you complete the game a pain.

This build was great. I went from getting killed in 3-4 hits by King Berserker to just tanking everything. Way lower damage output, but that's the tradeoff. I did make a few changes since I only care about bosses. Replaced the status effect resistances and slotted in 3 pieces of Svartalgheim. Also wore the berserker belt for a bit more dps. I don't gave everything at level 9, but this put me at 501 defense and 179 vitality.

Is the trade-off in damage that noticeable? I haven't used his time stopping build, but from watching his videos and looking at the numbers, this build has a strength of 249 and the time stop build has a strength of 275. Does that 26 strength make a difference? If not, the extra 190 or so defense seems to be a worthwhile trade-off.

@@PrometheusD12 I wasn't comparing to one of his builds. That said, strength is not what makes a build do a lot of damage. You can build multipliers to be doing 5-10x more damage. This build is an extreme defense build. It gives up all offensive buffs to become nearly unkillable.

The unstoppable aura relic is a very good safety net for keeping you alive in a battle, but when I am playing more offensively, I use the one (I can't remember it's name) that sacrifices health to deal damage since this build makes you tanky and have self healing, so that lost health won't be gone for long.

I did a similar build. I doubled up on the the surtr arms and girdle and I used the spear grip that gives you a burst of rage on a finisher. Then I used the Niflheim and Svartalfheim enchantment sets to get more damage and stun based on my defense. Then I use the shield item that gives CDR on a parry which with everything feels like a no compromise build. You're as tanky as can be you have lots of damage tons of healing and you've got enough cooldown you can dump your load when you need it.

@Noob7Zilla Yeah it's dope. Most enemies on give me no mercy end up finishable after I afflict them with sonic and one Achilles spear leap attack. Who needs crazy dps when you can essentially one bang nearly every trash enemy and then save everything else for the bigger guys.

Looks like the build i try e.g for the spear i use the one that give you rage after a R3 kill because it have 40 def and 29 hp + you need rage anyway so it fits realy good This 3 : -Eir's armament -Poison protector -Bright eyed emeblem Are the enchantmens i dont have in my set, i use 3 nilfheim or 3 svartalheim because it increase your def and other statts even more and with THAT much def both skills are just perfect also because you get more statts you CAN switch some small things if you want

there's an item (axe pommel maybe) that makes you heal with every hit with the axe, as long as your permafrost is full, but you also take more damage. There are items that increase the rate at which you build permafrost, so maybe that's a viable build as well. I personally pefer last second dodge/parry glass cannon

OUTSTANDING suggestion, dude! I really like this health build, but I was still getting wasted by the Berserker King and Gna. I would get close every now and then, but couldn't kill them. I switched out a couple of the health enchantments with just 3 of the Svartleheim set and I was able to defeat the King in the next fight! It is amazing how much of a difference is when you make Kratos just a little bit more stronger while still giving him a lot of health enchantments!

I've been using the Niðavellir Armor that makes stun never decrease and health boost on stun grabs. And a mod for the blades that deals greatly increased stun on the L2+R1 attack (which also makes you basically invisible once the blade hits and the animation starts) Most enemies get full stun from 1 or 2 attacks (and most stagger after each attack) Just repeat until you can stun grab and repeat. Not as fancy as this and a bit repetitive but so far pretty effective 😊

One thing I would add to this, the niflheim enchantments, increase damage based on your defense while above 75% health, I have 550 defense with a similar build and it does sooo much damage, on top of always healing and being above that 75%

Thanks for this build bro.. Im playing on GMGOW difficulty And using the Lunda's build before as much as I love Lunda's armor I'm a glass Cannon.. Imma like 2 hits by the monsters and the berserkers.. So I gave this build a shot and I can say that I found the perfect build that suits my play style.. So far I only have the stein armor and raven bracers (still working on surtrs) but the results that I'm getting so far are impressive... I will just adjust the amulets according to my play style. All in all I love this build.. thanks bro for sharing it 😁

This is by far my favorite build. I'm currently using a build like this but with a few tweaks. Defense is very important in this game especially with how kratos takes damage

oh man this helped me finally beat the triple berserkers..I didn't have the surtur's girdle so just went with the raven tears waist armor abs just added some vitality increasing amulets.. good stuff!

Thanks for the build. I had been stuck on King Berserker for awhile and had almost all the pieces already, just needed the armor. Used your build and killed the King first try. Didn’t even come close to dying.
