I’m not a religious person honestly, Catholic, Christian, Jewish… I don’t follow any particular faith but I don’t have a problem with anybody that does or with them existing, is everyone’s right to choose. And seeing some comments that(just based on the title) attack her, for being disrespectful (maybe watch it first?) Then a lot of comments from people of other beliefs just… wow, is ironic and sad that the people who claim themselves “in a better spiritual level” and what not are the quickest to judge and even condemn (not saying all the people who has a faith, but in this comment section specifically). What makes you think that you hold the absolute truth because of your religion? Is arrogant honestly, obviously you had strong faith so you don’t question for a second what you believe in, but people who have others faiths feel the same strong devotion so just RESPECT THEM, don’t try to impose, don’t comment as if you are above them, we are all equal regardless. Threat them as you would like to be treated by people who don’t follow what you do, and even the comments trying to mock because “there is not god” “what god” etc be RESPECTFUL too I am not by any means religious but I don’t make fun or try to pick at people who is. And finally in the holocaust context well they were persecuted more as a “race” not a “religion”, some were very devoted Jews, some did not have touch with the spiritual side of it, some did not even identified as Jews because they were not religious but came from Jewish ancestry, so it had nothing to do with religion and everything to do with racism/antisemitism, so don’t ever think ANYONE should ever go through this kind of misery. And so many comments of trols, people trying to be sarcastic or funny for some likes and attention out of this human disaster, their pain and grieve. It destroy so many lives and shed a light on how truly evil, twisted and vicious people can be towards another JUST because they hold power over them. Think, be kind , respectful and empathetic and try to educate yourself. Whoever made it to this point, sorry I know is a lot of text haha but I hope you at least think about it and check yourself (me included) when out of ignorance we say or do things that can hurt.

Exactly this 💯 . Not being religious either, I see a lot preaching but very little understanding. And I also have no problem with people being religious whatever form it takes. My dear Tova, my heart goes out to you and to all who are harmed by man's hate, ignorance, acts of genocide, enslavement, abuse, and evil deeds. Thank you and to your grandson for your efforts to document your important story for posterity and to warn mankind about man's potential for inhumane and evil deeds, words, and thoughts. When mankind refuses to learn from our mistakes and from the sins of our ancestors, then mankind is prone to repeat the same mistakes. I pray that your message raises awareness and creates a ripple effect across our world to raise our collective conscience to genuinely love and respect one another, all life on earth, and our planet earth. I was born in the early 1950s and the atrocities of WW2 were taught in my education and remembered by my family and friends. I will remember your story and will carry you in my heart. I travelled internationally and witnessed the best and the worst in mankind. I regret that so many individuals today are ignorant about our global history, while others deny history and facts altogether, are self-absorbed with an interest in only a select portion of history, or look for scapegoats for their rage and anger rather than actively working toward making positive contributions to our world and being an integral part of creating positive solutions. It is important that they learn about you and your experience during WW2 so that they will be open to evolving into better human beings. Their level of humanity is measured by their compassion and respect for all life on earth. You have a generosity of spirit and an immense courage to face what happened to you and your family to share your story for the benefit of mankind. Thank you for your bravery and for your love of mankind that allows you to carry your message forward for the benefit of younger generations. I am grateful for your grandson's dedication to assist you and to assist mankind. May you, your grandson, and your family be blessed. And yes, millions of souls will be open to learning about the reasons behind each opportunity that has been presented to us to learn about ourselves and others.

Are some of you capable of respect and empathy for another human being? Consider trying to go 24 hours focusing on how you can uplift another human being and how you can actively make a positive contribution to our global community. Are you able to recognize that Tova's story is about her personal experience, which deserves to be treated with respect and dignity? She is courageously facing a painful trauma in order to share her story for posterity to benefit mankind. Her story is not about you, your harsh judgements, your religious beliefs, your personal agenda, or your individual politics. Mankind repeats the mistakes and the sins of their ancestors when they refuse to learn from their mistakes and when they refuse to heed the warnings of others. The harsh comments and judgements are inappropriate and reflect your own level of humanity and how evolved you are as a global citizen. Be open to developing genuine compassion and love for all life on earth and to learning how to respect one another. Peace and love begins with each of us.

It’s very detailed and filled with birthing wisdom of procreation relationships. When this plant flowers on land, this creature is mating in the sea, In that way we knew the reason of the mating seasons, so as to regulate when not to fish for that particular fish, etc. That was different than getting that same fish from the fish ponds - big stacked stone enclosures in the ocean. There’s a reason why creators original native peoples and their creation stories were erased, belittled as lesser than. Have you heard of The Doctrine of Discovery? Google it. Judaism was recreated under the thumb of Rome, via the remnants of the tribe of Judah. We all are descendants of original creator’s peoples. Listening the way the survivor is replying to the queries is extremely painful and deeply moving. Hate can lead to this scale of genocide is unthinkable. Then why hate? This is the simple lesson we can arrive at. There's diversity everywhere and in everything we look into. It's just natural. We accept this diversity and appreciate it's beauty, yet our species is very sceptical when it comes to the diversity of it's own. My earnest need is to know why it's among us, about us, whereas we love diversity at all other things living or non living around us? Plz. reply for my understanding. Thanks madam survivor.

Hindsight is always 20-20, back in the day when Jews were progressively demoralized and restricted the information about the camps wasn’t available. There was no internet and not even many phones. So word about the atrocities at the camps wasn’t fully known until liberation. Also many countries restricted refuges from entering. Switzerland, that stayed neutral due to depending on Germany for trade reasons began limiting some Jewish refugees to appease the Germans. Even had its own camp for them. (I don’t know the details, just what I read from 1 source), the USA also restricted Jewish refugees. My grandpa came to Sweden before WWII, lucky for me and Sweden stayed neutral and wasn’t invaded. (Not certain but think Sweden allowed German trains to go get iron ore for their weapons manufacturing). Of his siblings 1 sister moved to Detroit area, 1-2 brothers to Leningrad. His dad, my great grandpa was a Rabbi and killed in a pogrom. My grandpa had a good life in Sweden, married a Shiksa (gentile), started a business that still exists today. He had the last name Friedman too, but changed it with someone, from Safran. What destinies we Jews go through. My dad and his sister resulted and my grandpa kept his Torah but never talked about his past nor about being Jewish. My mom’s sister married an Israeli and so my grandpa went to Israel and according to my aunt he spoke Yiddish nonstop. So after denying his Jewish heritage he went to Israel and could be himself. My dad who was an easy learner, (I guess mixed genes) became a diplomat. I was born and while abroad from Sweden became best friends with the an Israeli diplomats daughter. I thus visited her in Israel and was struck by how many people had my last name, Friedman, my brown thick curly hair, almost exactly like this grandson in this wonderful video, and by how similar my personality and sense of humor was to people in Haifa. I felt so at home, vs in Sweden. And then I almost made Aliyah, but thought I had no right with 1 grand parent, (didn’t know about Law of return allowing people w 1 grandparent citizenship in Israel, I understand Hitler killed up to that level up to 1/4 of Jew, as if a race) although Thru DNA testing turns out there’s more European Jewish ancestry in my background then that one grandpa. So after bunch of years in the US, moved since my parents moved here, to study and work, converted orthodox in NYC, I think I’m ready to finally make Aliyah and go home. And for any Palestinians out there or Gazan’s, West Bank people, love you too. We need to all live in peace. Right!!! ❤️💕🌹Let’s all live in peace and respect each other. Namaste. 🙏🏻

The explanation is simple. There is no God, just humans that are the most cruel animals on earth.

If you can believe in moving stars then they can also believe in whatever they want. There is no copywriting or patents on god or his identity. Everyone has been given a brain to think, eyes to see, ears to hear and tongue to speak. They have hands to write the glory or criticise their version of god or gods and this power they have been given by this universe or any other universal power. So ideal hoomans have no rights to question or deny someone’s version of god or way of worship. So they can worship a demigod.

Yes the holocaust was terrible and so is the current violence against Palestinians in apartheid Israel. Check out the recent report from Amnesty and Btselem.

I think everyone should be cognisant that there is no god of any variety. You’ll never be furnished with an explanation because the concept is absurd.

Really? Are you f&**g serious? That's a SLAP in the face to all the victims of the holocaust. You do realize how many people cried out to god for years on end, but god didn't do jack f&&*g squat? HOW could a god allow a Holocaust among millions of other horrific atrocities?

Hypocrisy, what about Palestinian ? Israel is no different to what Germany was in the past. It’s happening today ! Yet we are listening to this nonsense, As if it’s of greater importance then the suffering of today. Ridiculous, Reporting the past, and ignoring the present. Channel 4 Nonsense….

There are many survivors, from many different types of horrors. Jews⭐⭐ not the only ones. What about all those in human events going on today. People shot on the street indiscriminately. OK . The Nazis were awful, but what about other organisations of terror.

John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
