Thank You for sharing this today. I am my husband's caregiver, he had a stroke 7 years ago on Thanksgiving Day, that brought on dementia. So for a little over 7 years I have been taking care of him. He is mostly in the bed, he is totally incontinent, so I find myself changing diapers again. Some days are very challenging. I admit sometimes I try to do it on my own, it doesn't take long to realize without God I cannot do it. I do have family close by that are good support. We got a beautiful snow here in our part of Eastern NC and today at almost 75 I went sledding, actually my son pulled our 4 year old Grandson and I on a barrel that had been cut on half length wise behind the gator, I had so much fun. Thank You and Your sister and Your parents for doing the videos, I enjoy all of them. I found your Mom's channel first and then Y'all. It is always a Blessing to watch something without hearing cursing or wondering what ungodly thing is coming next. PRAYERS

It is just as powerful when delivered by a grannie in her rocking chair, or a young mother like yourself taking a brief break from attending to her little one at naptime.

Thank you for your video. Don't worry, your message was very clear. It's also a favorite verse of mine. Two stories about this verse: Years ago now we had full time jobs away from home but had a wonderful babysitter. When tragedy struck, as her husband was accidentally shot while deer hunting, he remained in the ICU for a long time. It was quite grave. As a pastor, her husband received many visitors despite that no one could go in and see him. So he would know who came to see him when he came out of the coma, she made a book for visitors to sign. On top of each page she would write: "This is the day the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it." Even though we went to the hospital to comfort her, that verse comforted us all. When my girls were little, they were always good at bringing some crayons, coloring books, etc. for themselves when we went to church. Our church always sang Psalm 118:24 as the opening hymn. My husband and I had a good laugh one day when driving home from Sunday church. The girls were singing: This is the day the Lord has made, we will BRING TOYS and be glad in it! Now we knew how they remembered to bring their toys to occupy themselves at church. :) Blessings over you and yours.

Thank you. You are a Godsend. I appreciate this word. It is so grounding. Takes me back to True North spiritually. The cares of this world can cause us to fret and get overwhelmed. If we meditate on this one particular scripture daily, we can return to that place of security and peace, escaping the pressures and demands of the world and the deception and chaos of the enemy of our soul. It is a new day and I choose to rejoice. God has given me a gift of this current day to fellowship with Him, to serve Him, and to be available for Him. I belong to Him and I am glad.

Thank you for this reminder. I’m watching this before I go to bed, and it has really helped me. Not that I’m not thankful every day, because I am. I usually recite Psalm 103: 1-5, to start my day as well. But today was different, I experienced mental warfare, like never before, and it was very distracting. So I got in Gods word and read the Scriptures about having a sound mind, not wrestling with flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities of the dark world. I separated myself, went to the park, and watched the snow fall from inside of the car, singing praise and worship songs to the Lord, and thanked him for delivering me and fighting my battles for me. Reminded myself that the battle is not mine, but Gods. And that he fights for me, I need only to be still. I claim the victory, and I overcome the enemy by the blood of the lamb, and the word of my testimony. But thank you for this video. It was encouraging for me to be reminded of this.❤️

I appreciate your videos. I found you thru Doyle Dykes. Along with The blind pig and the acorn!! My personal experience (I am 66 years old) is that we are told to hide his word in our hearts. Obviously, he brought to your heart. "This is the day that the Lord hath made rejoice and be glad in it. For me, the same is true. But the other things I have stored in my heart are hymns and songs, I have found that children's Sunday school songs are sometimes the best for getting me out of the blues. 🎵 I've got the joy joy joy down in my heart WHERE down in my heart!(my favorite part) If the devil doesn't like it, he can sit on a tack. Ouch, sit on a tack. Or else I start singing or humming DO Lord o do Lord o do remember me etc etc. May God's Blessings be on you and your family!!!😊

We only have today and when we think about it in the way this verse says, it puts ALL things into perspective. God bless you! I am 70 years old. Your video reminded me of something that I say often, to as many people that will listen, something that took me a long time to realize. The safest place to be, is as close to God's Truth and Reality as possible. The Truth was here before I was born and will be here after I am gone. The Truth can be found in me, but does not originate in me, the Truth must be surrendered to. Then it can be found in me. Until then, all I have to offer is my truth. I was saved in 1988 and it took me a long time to understand this. I have found that when I move my likes, dislikes, feelings, emotions, opinions and even intellect out of the way, then and only then can I see Truth. It was there the whole time. Those other things are still there, Truth just has It's proper place now. The moment we want the Holy Spirit to be in control, He will be!! All it takes is desire.
