YO, this is very useful, can you please make a beginner friendly modding guide? step by step and in such format, I bet it could be very useful since modding is so necesary to understand and sometimes players just end up copying builds without understanding about synergies, and loudout wide synergies. this way a noobie could start troublesolving and making the builds they need according to what they have available and possibly understand what to aim for later. Dont underestimate the relevant of these guides, since in game info is there, but you are left to figure it out and break you rneck on your own guessing what everything means, while most of players just want to jump in and get to doing stuff instead of having to do in game homework to have fun, IykwIm

I got a riven for the nagantaka that gave it 206% crit, 73% reload speed and it instantly became my favorite weapon overnite and 6 forma later its been the best investment ive made. It might not be a god roll but for me it really just became the answer to everything lol

To me, Using Rivens to CONDENSE mods into a single mod slot, is more important than god rolls (ESPECIALLY for MELEES) . We now have so many amazing mods in the game that can at times be stronger than what most rivens offer. In most weapon cases that work even for 1/5 dispo, Condensing elements is the best choice.

I wish DE would implement a stat lock option for rolling rivens. They could easily balance by increasing the Kuva cost per roll times each stat you have locked. The First Descendant does this for their stat rolling and it's great

​@shinnokshogun8414 well that's hardly first when warframe had been out for years but i guess... honestly the riven market is a huge drive for platinum buying so making them easier to god roll sounds not likely. I personally would just like them to narrow the gap between the high and low end of the riven disposition spectrum. Like instead of .5 to 1.6 go to .7 to 1.3... less value in the high end so less inflation in pricing and less punishment for using a "meta" weapon riven... it's WAY too spiky as is

My first and to this day most effective Riven is for the Pennant, [Crit Chance+ Crit Damage + Initial Combo - Damage to Infested], had it way before melee Arcanes and Galvanized mods, dealt with pretty much all content in the game with ease, because Heavy Nikanas have forced Slash procs on heavy attacks and the heavies are wide sweeping strikes, unlike a Scythe that has a more vertical heavy, oh and it has lift on the heavy, so Melee Affliction just puts 7 huge Slash procs on a very wide sweeping strike. Though with Melee Influence you can get a lot more AoE damage/Kills, it still hits like a truck in any high level content.

My personal good roll is Tombfinger with both crits and fire rate, no negative. Only one I use, rest is just unrolled stuff I didn't get rid of

A good rule of thumb for rivens, 1/5 dispo is usually not worth. 2/5 is ehh, depends on the build. 3/5 okay. 4/5 must have. 5/5 fully invest kuva. Crit chance, crit dmg, multishot with - zoom is great across the board for primaries and secondaries. Cc, cd, attack speed, - harmless trait is usually ideal for melee. But it does depend on how you build the weapons and what you’re looking for.

people asking about "best negatives" it really depends on the build, weapon, arcane, warframe + weapon, stat sticks literal long list. like in the video for khora she doesn't need faction multipliers but also heavy attack eff is useless on her, crit on slide is useless, having negative impact and puncture can be good for for pure slash builds...so yeah it depends.

Love my riven mods, I generally just go for either critical, an element, sometimes a specific ips, and damage. I do have a few God rolls my favorites being the Torid, Glaive, Vasto, Silva and Aegis, and a few others. The newer weapons, I honestly don’t try to actually acquire Rivne’s for with many of them as many of them are quite powerful on their own as DE has really been been doing an awesome job and that’s before the Void “enhancements.”

I never cared much for rivens until lately. Even if you believe your weapon's damage is more than adequate, rivens are still great for slotting in several benefits into just one mod. Some of my favorite rivens are faction damage bonuses with fire rate and multishot. So much put into one mod!

I've always wanted to comment on this, how good that you continue creating these types of guides in your style, many here know that you are very aimed at a more advanced audience in the game or that is on the way to that but even so you try to include those small simple explanations for those who are not very familiar with the concepts, strategies or mechanics of that style, outside of what some people say, your videos leave a feeling of learning that although some see some tech or synergies repeated between one build or another, it leaves open the possibility that this playstyle can be replicated without so much problem in other Warframes and people will be open to experiment since you usually detail the bases of what you teach, very good work. And I have a question regarding the flat damage in the riven, I want to build the latron incarnon and I was thinking of using the semi-rifle cannonade mod but I have role a riven and got dmg+cd+cc -corpus, and I know that usually the flat damage is changed by faction or multiplicative mods but in this case reviewing how I want to build it I have a space or two let's say free and I don't know what I could add and I have had the doubt of whether to add the cannonade anyway or look for another alternative.

In all reallity it actually very easy the god roll for almost any weapon in the game that people will pay thousands and thousands of plat in trade chat for is always crit chance, crit damage and multishot with a negative that doesn't hurt the weapons performance and there are only 3 or 4 primary and secondary weapons in warframe that are exceptions to this simple rule and of course for melee weapons it is a bit different because they don't have multishot . In reallity there are actually a lot of other rolls that perform in practice just as good on your weapons as the crit chance, crit damage and multishot rolls that people always want but no matter how good those other rolls perform people will never pay those absurd amounts of plat for them as for the flashy double crit multi.

Some weapons also don't like some stats, the Felarx for instants actually wants its Crit to be as low as possible for one of its builds so minus Crit on a Felarx Riven is actually a bonus.

@ you get to the point when you realize getting every wep is meaningless other than for MR. If warframe was the type of game where you really need to format your loadouts depending on what you’re doing then yeah tweak builds to do x and y. But for 90% of the game you can use 10% of the gear and run through everything.

No. Even if weapons are good without Rivens the Riven will still add more. Just the ability of a Riven to potentially take the place of 2 mods is enough to make them part of "GOD TIER WEAPON BUILDS" because you will be able to use an extra mod in your build.

its solid i'd say, if it doesn't have a negative though it brings it down a bit. Negatives will always improve the value of the positive traits (i.e. 76% cc instead of 70), but you always want a negative that's very negligible like -zoom or impact. Grineer roll is kinda mid I'd say, but since grineer is generally the most common faction its not bad either. Overall my rule of thumb for rivens is that crit chance, crit damage, and multishot are nearly always ideal positives unless the weapon has absolutely abysmal crit chance like nukor. I'm not a complete expert on rivens but I've messed with rolling some for the weapons i like a lot (glaxion, soma, okina to name a few)

Kuva Survival in Kuva Fortress. Trade Riven slivers in Iron Wake (Earth node) Trade in Zariman killing angels with the Archimedean or whatever she is called, the redhead lady. Nightwave also has Kuva. Doing 2nd and 3rd weekly you can get 70k Kuva easily.

Honestly forgot rivens exist, I still don't know how to trade them properly and I never get one for a weapon I want so I just gave up on them. I understand it's the way it is since rivens are seen as broken but I really wished they made it to whichever weapon you reveal it one it's for that weapon, not a weapon you never heard of and one that is like C tier and no one ever uses it. Again I understand why it's not that way because it would be pretty broken.

@@Khyon521 another idea is to get a negative that doesnt affect the weapon - harmless negative. Usually -zoom is perfect, - dmg to Infested is also considered ok (weak faction), just to name some examples. Then, there are specific weapons that are not affected by specific negatives. For example, the Dual Toxocyst or the Redeemer Prime are Hit-scan weapon, and its pellets are not affected by projectile speed (the shots hit instantly the target). You can consider it a hamless negative and if u got a riven with it, works very well. The Tonkor, for example, - ammo magazine is perfect because its ammo magazine is only 1 - literally harmless. Another example are incarnon weapons, not affected by, for example, -ammo max (the incarnon mode itself, draws ammo from a seperate ammo pool, but not the normal mode). Finally, there are even some very specific negatives that are actually DESIRABLE and WANTED for some weapons. For a true god-roll in Vectis Prime, for example, many want -ammo magazine as negative and will only accept that for a GOD-ROLL PRICE. The idea is to get the magazine to 1 shot, so it always gets the bonus shots from Primed Chamber. but, not all -ammo magazine can achieve it. In the opposite, there are many negatives that are just no-no. -Multishot is bad, -damage is bad, faction damage is usually bad, - CC or CD is terrible, of course - even in status weapons - Fire rate is USUALLY very bad, but can be fixed with other mods and its ok in some weapons, such as the Torid, because it just takes a few shots to build the incarnon mode - it wont just be a god-roll, most likelly. Anything that hinders a weapon significantly is just best to be avoided, but depends on each weapon, its base stats and what the result you want your build to achieve. One last example, for weapons such as Phantasma Prime, CC or CD is usually avoided, because those initial numbers are very low. That doesnt mean its not..usable, but a riven with those wont be...desireable and wont probably be considered a god-roll, just a good roll. Hope i helped :)
