Just came back after the 1999 update, one thing i love about this game is any time you take a break, it seems like there's countless new things to discover and try. I'm loving all the new magnetic and radiation mods for weapons, really opens up some interesting build options, other than viral+hunter muntions. This video was in my feed and i had no clue the trumna prime existed before then. You best believe I'm building it now though, it looks so fun!

Galvanized Aptitude is actually perfectly fine. After all, you need to get the kills in the first place in order to use the alt fire. (Edit: while the AOE of the secondary fire doesn’t benefit from GA, the Primary fire does.)

He explained it but not very well, aptitude doesn’t effect AoE damage but it effects direct damage and its multiplicative compared to when other weapons use it, so with direct hits you will hit significantly harder on enemies like necramechs and disruption demolists. Zephyr is probably the number one utilizer of the gun. If you thought the secondary fire was good before, enemies caught in Zephyr tornados when hit by the alt-fire count towards kills for the next alt-fire. Combine it with electric dmg or gas for the tornado and it’ll destroy.

Just use it with Gauss and you'll have no problem with slow reload and fire rate and you wont have to waste mod slots for that plus you get extra damage from Gauss augment mod.

so, i did put on galv aptitude, even he said not to, but because i put viral, heat, radiation on, it slaps lvl 155 sp corrupted hg’ers. only difference is that i have deadhead on, and it’s not even max rank yet. maybe i’ll post the build on overframe, but i’ll see.

You can look up Warframe signature weapons. They are weapons that drop with frames, and those weapons are the ones that get primed with those same frames. Fun fact many of them, have a special perk when used with their respective frames.

I personally found it fun to play with my room nuke sevagoth and specifically prime nautilus for the bond mods, works really well for grouping enemies together so you can take even better advantage of the flat damage build and it's aoe. Additionally because the grenades bounce around, if the enemies are tight together the grenades from alt fire tend to bounce around those enemies, pretty much multiplying damage. though sevagoth NEEDS prime sure footed for this.

i argue that vile acceleration is not very good on this weapon because the main damage dealer is the alt fire but that isn't really affected by fire rate. instead i think replacing that with primed firestorm or hunter munition with viral are both good. serration can also be dropped as it is only a 60% dmg increase once primary merciless is stacked

I don't have the Prime yet, but on the normal Trumna, I use both Stabilizer AND Vile Precision to reduce the recoil down to nothing. Completely eliminating recoil greatly improves my accuracy, so I think it's worth it to use two mod slots for it instead of one.

I like building it for Blast. Deadhead + Serration (base damage for big procs), and then you can slap Primed Cryo Rounds on for big up front damage from one mod. I like it with a Moa armed with a Vulcax/Vulklok for Tenacious + Reinforced Bond (Manifold and others, as well, naturally) and Whiplash Mine.

Yeah I think 48% SC in status weapon isn't that good. Aptitude gives 72% SC and damage to normal shots. Also shouldn't serration gives more damage than hellfire?

No that really is how aptitude works. I know he says the mod doesn't tell you, but it does. "Direct damage" meaning damage from direct hits only.

I would use either Citrine or Jade. Citrine because of her ultimate that causes a crystal to sprout out of enemies that gives you 300% crit chance when hit, and Jade for her ability to buff her own damage and armor strip

Trumna is my main weapon on Chroma because he just gigaboosts the damage of the Trumna you DON'T NEED to mod it on the weapon anymore. You can just slap in a bunch of multipleirs and have fun. It's not the best of the best but doesn't have to be, just good and fun.

Completely disagree. You want to only mod for the primary fire because your secondary will clean rooms anyway. And if your primary doesn't slap, your secondary wont be possibly. Played the weapon a lot and it is still one of my favorites.

I've often said that Trumna is one of the best non-incarnon weapons out there. I'm looking forward to working the Prime up to the same build I use for the base version. Also, Revenant chuckles at the reload times. As a Revenant main, I gotta say that reloads are much less of a problem when you're basically invincible. Panzer Vulpa and Hound are my favorite companions, so I might also be biased there. But hearing someone more knowledgeable than me in most aspects of the game voicing them as options feels good.

I use the trumna prime on qorvex, use his 2nd ability to armor strip and that one sentinel mod that increases fire rate when you have x amount of shields. Might expand on synergies but for now its good enough.

Kuva Sobek, being relatively new, has a terrible dispo compared to the regular Sobek meaning that the riven usually blows most builds for the Kuva version out of the water. Kuva Sobek: x0.75 Dispo (2 dots) Sobek: x1.33 dispo (5 dots, just barely)

While I'm not saying that its not a real thing, I personally never really had a situation where non-base weapons are worse due to low riven disposition. And even if something like this happens - the difference is negligible imo. Having 5% less or more damage isn't a big deal on high levels, so it comes down to personal preference. You either min-max for best damage result because you like big numbers, or you're using prime weapons for visuals because you like cool looking guns. Both reasons are purely cosmetic.

Same here. Had to switch to viral heat with primed cryo freeze to enhance base damage with serration and malignant force for a boost of status chance with the normal crit mods but with hammer shot. Had to drop vile excel and replace it with speed trigger and reinforced bond on my panzer and it seemed to do the trick. But it now where touches the power of the incarnon’s like torrid, burston, dual toxcist’s. But yeah try that it’ll probably be better.😊

Citrine, two green corrosive shards, archon continuity, and any weapon running corrosive are my favorite to run for any mission for both casual and level cap content. Cant beat priming entire rooms with one ability while giving yourself cc, dr, and energy/health regen while mowing down hoards of enemies

I actually use galvanized aptitude on mine in addition to a base damage mod. I've got it built already well enough to take down most targets, and the additional damage is nice on the few tougher enemies. I had actually thought it was projectile explosion, in which case this would be more powerful, but I just checked and it's apparently hitscan explosion

aptitude is fine if your not focus on the aoe it's just not really recommended due to it not apply to AoE just direct damage but it's fine if your just shooting not relying or using the alt fire much

Blast is surely not bad but in my opinion it shines most on very high fire rate high status chance weapons ;)

Someone asks me what my drip on a build is, always have questions for them. What's there main frame and how are they using it? To customize the build to them but it still needs to do dps whatever the weapon

Yes, but if you do the math then you'll see that +165% additive base DMG vs +55% multiplicative DMG, then HC is slightly better. The only reason I ususally don't recommend it is that you miss more due to the accuracy loss and that on DoT Builds you wanna go for Faction DMG because it double dips. There are niche cases where HC is viable though and this is one of them ;)

I'll give you all an idea, it's a boring one but always broken, rhino with combat discipline and nourish, so you can burst your damage far beyond and don't use one slot for faction damage

Why does everyone complain about the reload, you barely have to do it 😭I guess people are used to spamming reload if there aren't enemies nearby for 1 second
