I just saw Jesus standing in my house! He told me that He is “coming soon on the clouds of glory”, and to be ready at an instant to come with Him, “for He that calleth thee is on his way”. YAY!!! Even so, Come, Lord Jesus!!! I put the babies down for their nap and when I came out, Jesus was still waiting for me. I came to Him and bowed before Him. I saw the blood-red nail scars in His feet. I kissed His feet and said “You deserve all the honor and glory! It’s only because of You that we can obey.” Then I looked up at His face and His eyes seemed like they were burning, so I knew He had a message to give me. This is what He said: “Thus saith the Son of God who hath the stars in His Hand, whose eyes are as a flame of fire: I see thy works, every one, and am come to try the inhabitants of the earth after their ways. Those that have sown righteousness shall reap in mercy, and those that have sown wickedness will reap in damnation. Be careful that thou retain thy garments, that thy shame does not appear. Thus saith the Lord God Almighty, whose voice breaketh the cedars, whose voice is as the sound of rushing waters: I am come to try the inhabitants of the earth to see who is Mine and who is not Mine. When I first accepted Christ a couple of amazing things happened that relate to this. First, I was so sad not to be able to remember how it felt to be a child or even remember what I looked like. I wanted to come to Jesus like a child, innocent and so trusting and allow him to take all my pain, grief, emptiness and regret and remove all of the skeletons in my sin closet. First I sat in the middle of my bedroom floor and wept and confessed and grieved over my life like I had never done before. It was a long time weeping. Then I asked God to show me how I looked as a little one. I went to sleep that night and in my dream I saw myself. Little sweet face, red curly soft hair. And wearing a tiny little dress and black shoes I had loved. It was the first time in my life that I ever woke up with a deep joy in my heart. I have loved that verse in the Psalms for years. When I would lay down to go to sleep I would picture myself as a tiny babe sleeping in the palm of the Father. He would cover and protect me with His other hand and hold me so close to His chest. I never slept the sleep of a child..... until that moment.

I was reading The Silver Chair, sixth book of The Chronicles of Narnia, with my six-years-old son listening this sound. Right at the moment where the three adventurers had to choose between Aslam's voice or Green Lady's voice. Aslam's way seems to be the most dangerous, but they choose to follow him instead the Underworld Queen, whose promises were to keep them safe. Trust in Jesus' voice will always lead us to the right path, even thou it doesn't seem the safest one.

Man That is so AWESOME!! I am prepping to teach a lesson on repentance and this aligns so perfectly. God's call to repentance does not seem safe because he is calling us to do things that we have never done before and to do things His way. To stay stuck in our sin is easy and safe because it has given us comfort for so long. But with Jesus, He will walk with us through the painful steps of laying down the "safe way" of doing things. So glad I bumped into this.

Thank you Lord. Thank you for this. Just the statement in the fathers lap has opened my eyes to the glory of the wonder and beauty and joy and love that he has for us. It brought me into his presence as I sat as a new born baby in his lap as he told me of great things that he had planned for me not specifically but that he would be with me thru it all. The light in the darkness. The joy in the pain and grief. He would walk with me but he breathed in me his breath of life and he promised to be with me thru it all, through his son Jesus and I had to trust him. The path with Jesus may not look the easiest but it is the safest and most rewarding you will ever know. Sat back in his lap again made me look out to the horizon again and see what is possible if I put my trust in the Lord. Amen. Hallelujah..

You must meet God. Are you ready? In comparison with this question, all others are utterly insignificant. You may be successful in business, have a wonderful family, and be healthy in both body and mind. You may even be religious and respected by all. But can you say with certainty that you are ready to meet God? To be ready to meet God requires a new birth. Jesus said, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). This statement has no exceptions. It cannot be ignored, as it was given by the Lord Jesus Christ. Have you been born again? The need for new birth arises from the fact that we are all sinners by birth and by practice. Sin is contrary to the nature of God. He hates sin, and it keeps us from having fellowship with Him. The Bible declares that God is “of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on wickedness” (Habakkuk 1:13). But while God hates sin, He loves sinners. God’s judgment for sin fell upon Christ on the cross, and there is cleansing and forgiveness for all who believe on Him. “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12). Through new birth, by receiving Christ, by believing He died for my sins, I am born into the family of God and can answer the question “Are you ready?” with a glad and confident “Yes!” Have you known this change? Have you experienced this new birth? Have you turned to God in repentance, admitting that you are a sinner in need of salvation? Have you given up the false idea that you can earn God’s favor through your own “good” works? Have you by faith accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord? Do not resent these personal questions, for they are intended to lead you to blessing. If I were to tell you of a path to wealth and fame you would probably be very interested. What Jesus Christ offers you-forgiveness of sins and eternal life with Him in Heaven-is of infinite value. Put the matter to the test. Do it now. The terms are simple: “This is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 3:23). Will you receive Him, the living Christ of God who died, rose again, and now offers salvation to all who believe on Him? Will you trust Him now as your very own Savior? It is not the reception of a creed, or identification with a church, or becoming a religious person that saves. It is the acceptance of a Person, the Son of God. Your acceptance or rejection of Him answers the solemn question, “Are you ready?” “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). When you stand before God, will you be stained with your sin or will you have been washed clean through faith in Jesus Christ? The issue is very clear: your response to Jesus Christ now will determine your destiny for eternity. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved…. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 4:12; 16:31). You must meet God. Are you ready?

Some people are so afraid of the supernatural they throw away the portion of our Bible that speaks about the gifts and throw away the portion of our God who is spirit. Super counterintuitive and ridiculous considering God became flesh rose from the dead and lives.
