This is beautiful. But in the difficult healing work to relearn religion and God, how do we justify the “tests” and tribulations that life throws our way, some of which can be brutal? How do we then say God is loving? Surely, love cannot be the source of harm or pain.

The goal of life is to get closer to Allah (SWT), by these tests Allah (SWT) shows you some defects that are found within you which you need to work on so that you can get closer to him, whenever you face a trial, think: What does Allah (SWT) want from me in this situation? Being less suspicious? Being humble?
