He fails to recognise that the whole nation are beloved for the(ir) fathers sake. I presume also this sermon was spoken before the nation of Israel was created. Also read Zechariah 12 v 10-14 at that time every family.

​@@Boomslang1saved Israel are the remnant, the rest of the nation of Israel the unsaved Jews the 'broken off branches', which were broken off because of unbelief, verse 23 & 24 but God is able to graft them in again. The broken off branches (unbelieving Jews) are beloved by God because of the fathers Abraham,Isaac and Jacob verse 28 &29. To God, all in Israel are beloved and God warns gentiles not to be conceited and high-minded concerning the Jews. It's all in Romans chapter 11 God bless

I think he was responding to what he considered imbalaces at the time. It seems to me he is referring to salvation as opposed to the actual nation of isreal which of course does have a prophetic. implication as well . Therefore it seems to me what he said was broadly right from the point of view of salvation. But he didn't broach the prophetic scriptures that, it seems to me , refer to the geographical nature of Isreal and the miracle of Comming back to the land still with culture and language preserved after many centuries, and so on and so forth, etc, etc.
