I recently just left a good job for a job that paid much better and had a little prestige. It turned out that extra income came with a hostile work environment and an enormous amount of stress. I asked God to give me a few reasons to stay in the position which never came. I left that job quite quickly after I had reached my tolerance for stress. It's possible I left too fast and didn't give God a chance to work. But two days later I called my old employer who was more than happy to take me back and had work for me in 2 days. I miss the extra income but I am can breath and overall I'm more content.

Why can't you do well as well? What would you like to do? What is success to you. Why are your friends doing well. Is it because they are doing well the way society preaches? What would you like to do? Your life doesn't need to be spectacular to be glorifying to God. Take steps. Get a decent job, make sure it doesn't keep you away from the Lord and if the job is not shiny looking, doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't stress you out and turns you apart form Him. Save money. Ask God to help study this or that. You gotta remember that you're not a puppet. God knows you have dreams. Share them with Him. Grow, look how to go after them or something related to them. Everyone has their role. You don't need to be a millionaire, a pastor, or have studies x, y, z. Don't compare yourself to others. They are themselves, you are you!! Focus on your own game and share it with God. Work together on that. If you're lazy, afraid, procrastinator, ask Him in faith that those things are removed from you, in His glorifying name.

This is also not death, and the belief in the immortality of the human soul also denies the death of Christ. "Dying in body" is just a transition into another form of life, seeing that He would still then be conscious and existing.

But seek in prayer clarity of God and read the Bible and it will be given unto you. Seek and you'll find.. Even if you can't understand structure of God's trinity it doesn't matter, what matters is that you seek God, live according to His Word and accept Jesus as your savior.
