Also fun fact, the main reason you don’t recruit Perceval as fast as possible (on hard mode at least) is because he gains hard mode bonuses when he appears as a reinforcement on the map where people generally recruit him! This also applies to Rutger, Melady (and probably another unit I forgot about)

Shin, Thea, Gonzalez and Garret. For someone to receive hard mode bonuses in fe6 they have to be some sort of reinforcement. Melady gets it because she is a red unit that appears on turn 4 even though she immediately turns blue. On the other side units like raigh and hugh don't get bonuses because they are enemies from the start of the map.

It wouldn't be that hard to change Tate/Thea and Melady's classes from being flylocked if their spawn positions during the cutscenes they're on mountains and when they pop up proper were changed to be on solid ground or if the mountains were removed... but at the same time, FE6 being FE6, perhaps it's good to have access to some guarenteed fliers haha! Specially if there's gonna be scary generics like that!

Wait a minute, if Melady has to keep her class for coding reasons, then that means that female wyvern riders are the ones that got cursed with 5 move. Which means that it was Allen and not Ogier that transitioned.

she’s forced to be a flying class, so she can be male wyvern, female wyvern, or Pegasus. Of course, it’s actually a very easy fix to actually be able to make her a non-flying class, you just need to change her pathing

@@BoarbatriceMiledy seems to be using the female mounted aid formula of 20-Con so she at least seems to still be a female wyvern knight. Edit: Upon reviewing the footage it seems both Allen and Ogier are using the male aid formula while Miledy and Echidna are still using the female aid formula. I am now very confused.

@@DuelingShadethen I guess our only way to figure it out is to see which one has the Male/Female wyvern stat caps (male have a higher strenght cap while female has a higher speed cap)

Another reason why it is generally considered better to recruit Perceval during chapter 15 is because he gets hard mode bonuses there while he doesn't get them here
