I am a simple guy from Ukraine. Every body knows what its going on in my country now. But I try to believe in God and service to Him. Pastor Rick. I have been learning from your teachings lately. I love the analogy of the parade helicopter. It makes me feel more secure knowing God is going to protect me, avenge evil for ne, and tell me what to do because he can see the big picture. I read a few chapters of your book "Purpose Driven Life" the first page (i believe) of the first chapter says. God wants and expects you first and foremost as His child to JUST BE. Be with Him, be yourself, be in Grace. Everything else will follow this. This has stuck with me over the years. I also apply it to my Spouse and Childrens. The main thing in any relationship is being able to just sit with each other and it doesnt have to be spectacular. Just being ourselves, sharing, caring, loving, having Grace for each other, being there to talk and work on things if needed. I don't know if you meant to be so profound when you wrote the words to lay the foundation for that book but God sure has used it for my foundation in my relationship with Him and others. Thank you for being open to letting God use you in these teachings. Thank yiu God! ❤

Amen, I’m going through a trial and all my friends and family are along for the ride this time. So everyone is watching for an example. This last few weeks God has blessed me with a helper and opportunity… but the devil has been doing exactly what your saying and I’ve been taking every thought captive but in doing so I’m keeping score. The Holy Spirit has been given to us as a pledge of a glorious future. 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 We have the Spirit as a guarantee, a promise of something to be fully accomplished in the future. 2 Corinthians 5,1-9❤️
