God Save The Queen - BBC Version

The BBC's Version of God Save The Queen, usually played at closedown every night until the 9th November 1997, when BBC One joined the newly- launched BBC News 24 overnight.
This was also heard on the BBC's Radio Stations across Britain.

Also they play a slow and solemn arrangement of "God Save the Queen" or "God Save the King" when a member of the British royal family passes away or when the British monarch gives his or her Christmas message to all British citizens.
