Charles is giving the idea that God speaks in other ways (audible voice) and he doesn't. God speaks only through his written word. He said he exalts his Word above his name. He also said MY WORD is SPIRIT and TRUTH......Let God's WORD be TRUE and every man's word a lie.

In times past, from Genesis- acts, God spoke and revealed himself through various ways; through dreams, visions, angels, burning bush, still small voice, etc. and finally sending his SON JESUS to speak. The nation of Israel rejected their messiah and king, and had him murdered( crucified). God gave them time to repent! The stoning and killing of Stephen was, so to speak, the final straw. God suspended their program and will deal with them again in the future. Then God raised up another Apostle to preach the good news of the gospel, that Christ paid the debt for ALL of our sins. His name is Apostle Paul. You will only get the message of grace by studying Pauls epistles. Romans through Philemon.

@@RaphJonathanTan know that God loves you more than you will ever know. Before any healing he wants you saved. Study these few scriptures and believe what he has already done. Romans 3:21-28, Romans 1:16, Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Ephesians 2:8-9, study and believe what God says first for your eternal salvation. If your never physically healed in this life, do know that you are healed in the life hereafter. Start listening to a few teachers of the word of God rightly divided, such as e.c. moore berean bible study, Rodney beaulieu grace community church, or truth time radio with trey searcy. These are very good men who can teach the truth comparing scriptures. There is hope and suicide is not the answer. Please i beseech you to search them on youtube before you do anything drastic to yourself.

In January, I was talking to a friend about God, and I told him “I don’t know how many times I talked to Him about this…”. Suddenly, it dawned on me, I was the only one doing the talking. @@HenryCoule It’s not easy. I feel like we’re always in a rush, we want the answers right away and we want them to be crystal clear. But think about it like this: when a student asks their teacher a question, does the teacher always give the answer right away? A lot of times, teachers will guide their students to an answer without answering them. They might ask questions that will lead the students to the answer. And if they answer wrong, the teachers can give ‘em a hint and ask them another question. I believe God does the same thing: He makes us think. I know it’s a difficult thing to fathom. But the more we grow closer to God, the easier He is to understand. And remember: He’s always listening. I know a lot of times it feels like He’s ignoring you, but He never is. So trust His timing 🙏🏻

I have so wasted my life, I should have listened to God when He first spoke to me, way back in 1975 when I was 15! He took me to the Gospel of John chapter 14, this was a powerful scripture for me at that time. But I came from a family where both parents didn’t believe in God. So the subsequent years have been filled with me moving from church to church looking for something, which I now know was really the acceptance of people rather than the acceptance of God. But, I am now committed to The Lord, finally and completely, and I really need to learn to hear what He is saying to me!

Lately I've really been petitioning God to deliver me from the consequences of my sin and once I opened my Bible, I was led to Jeremiah 29:12 - "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you." This makes me so sad that to realise I have just been talking to God and not listening. I haven't been fair, but I know He is faithful. From now on I will pray, then I will listen. Even if it means waiting the whole night. I believe He will speak to me through His Holy Spirit. So often I wonder what I can do to serve the Lord, what my purpose is here. Some of us may never discover the exact reason of why we are where we are, but as believers we need to seek God's will and we can only do that through prayer, through faith. The bible tells us to "persevere in prayer". I hope I can now enjoy a deeper relationship with my Creator, through listening to His voice, a voice of love. I have only ever really listened to the voices in my head, the voices of satan which tell me so many lies to hinder me. This is why I haven't changed much since the day of my salvation. I have listened only to the words of men and not the wisdom of God. Thank you Dr Stanley, for explaining this vital life lesson so simply.

If God only speaks through the Bible, then he doesn’t work in our lives in any personal way. He couldn’t be guiding us to do any specific thing. I have a hard time believing in such an impersonal God. I have gotten impressions in my mind, not often, but I thought were from Him such as …if you trust Me you’ll have joy… I can’t imagine coming up with that myself, but it perfectly aligns with His word. Or maybe I’m wrong and He just doesn’t care about me that much.

[ It does not say to start a conversation] I started praying when I was 16 although I said many prayers before I never prayed. I cried out to God when I realized my lost state without Christ. That prayer has never stopped from the morning to the evening. This video is deceptive. God answers us trough His word. By reading and studying it daily. If I fall asleep at night the Lord is with me and I give all Glory to Him. My first answer from the Lord was when I saw that God the Father was Well pleased with Jesus His Son special, when He died at the Cross. I said Lord If you are well pleased with that sacrifice at the cross, Why would I not be. Matthew 3: 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I AM well pleased!”

I have schizophrenia and am psychotic so I hear voices all the time. Many are very critical and try to take the place of God. Anything God will say will come from a place of love and understanding. The devil always speaks from a place of hate and accusation. God speaks to and moves my heart and His word will always support whatever He says. Knowing the nature of God in Christ helps us hear God's voice. We know what Jesus said so we know what God would say.
