In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Ironclad. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. That was one of your play throughs where I don't think I could have played my way through the mid-game. Act II was super sketchy and I was very unconvinced by the Runic Pyramid pick, but you made it work.

I’m gonna make the call that he messed up by upgrading inflame over entrench before guardian. That one extra damage barely helped whereas doubling his block would have let him get ahead and stay ahead of damage with ease

I have to say, it actually feels really good to watch baarlord struggle in act II. I die there so many times, and then come watch his youtube vids of just one tapping ascension 20 over and over again - nice to see what he does when he has a weak deck out of act 1

I love how the absolute last minute, unupgraded Flame Barrier still did +120 damage to the Heart. It's one of my favorite cards in the game.

Like dude it blows my mind to think he would pick up that relic when it is guaranteed to block almost nothing as you will end most of your turns with block. Absolutely insane. That relic is trash even without the “retain block” cards that make it even worse.
