Dont be like I was, dating girls and trying to fill that lonely feeling I had. dating girls i had no business being with, wanting someone just to love me. Feeling like I didnt matter, and no one cared. Just know if its Gods will for you to be married, It will happen. Dont waste time with the wrong ones, itll save your heart alot of pain.

I'm content to be single. I'm free from distractions to do God's way and will in my life. Relationships can be a distraction from our purpose and direction to advance the kingdom. But if God gives me a new direction in a relationship I'd definitely go slowly and pray for HIS will.

I personally went through relationship trauma and have an emotional wound but I have healed to a great extent.... it's been one and half years now,I desire to move on but am currently jobless....I believe that God wants me to be single at the moment until He provides me a job so that my self esteem is enhanced and so He can connect me to the best man whom He has for me AMEN🙏🙏

You really have to meditate in these times. Just like God used Hosea and his relationship to show how he works, and his faithfulness, God will give you wisdom to understand how he works in your relationships. God used a man's lack of commitment towarda me to explain what He goes through every day as people say they know God, they love God, but they simply don't commit. Imagine the hurt you have when one man rejects you, and multiply it. Thats what He sees every single day.

Great points Mark! very true.. I would also like to add that having a clean hands and a pure heart , according to Psalm 24 before the LORD GOD daily, is a must pursuit all the time married or single. The bottom line, right now if one is truly born again, then one’s soul is married to GOD JESUS. Having a wife or a husband in this physical life on earth is an added bonus when it does happen.

This is amazing mark. Thank you ! I believe God has called me to do a particular tasks right now that he spoke to me about a month ago. He's called me to do this task while single I believe because I am so easily distracted. I believe after that he is certainly calling me to get married just because I have a very high sex drive although I haven't had sex or dated in over 3 years. So he also knows that I am able to hold out but it kills me cuz it crosses my mind a lot. Which is what I believe Paul refers to as burning with passion.

From what I have been led to understand, people who have the "gift of singleness" are wired so that they have no desire whatsoever for companionship, intimacy, or anything else they get from marriage and relationships. I'm 41 and have been single my entire life, and if this is what the "gift of singleness" is, I do not have it. However, I am beginning to wish I did. If I never had any of these desires my life would have been so much better. The turmoil I have been through over the past two and a half decades has taken a toll on me I can't even begin to describe. To add to that, people at church will occasionally say, "Why don't you just get married?" As if getting a wife is just like going to the store and buying something.

I’m struggling so much right now with my singleness. My boyfriend and I broke up a month ago and I just feel like I’m losing hope. First being content along with being active for Jesus. It's not an easy journey. Me and my ex left eachother 4 years ago . In those 4 years I went through alot of change. Why does gods seasons last for years when they shouldn’t I’ve been waiting for my first relationship because I’ve never been one but I have a strong sexual desire I’ve been waiting 10 years at least I’m 30 and never been in a single relationship currently going out on dates with a girl who asked me out first which surprised me we’re not in a relationship yet I’m not gonna ask her soon. I'm at retirement age now and I told God do not bother now because it's too darn late! I was a sucker for those "true love waits" crap and I wasted all those years, and please don't feed me that "our timing is not God's timing" or "you don't need a spouse if you got Jesus" trope! I am so sick of hearing it! Not everyone who prays for a spouse is going to get one (no matter how much faith they have) and will have to deal with the cold hard truth that they will die alone.
