God will give you over to your sin if you continuously disobey Him

As disciples, sin will get in our way during our walk with Christ. If you continuously sin and don't turn around from it, the Lord will give you over to your sin until you repent from it. But use that a lesson from the Lord to keep getting back up, to give you the strength to defeat temptation, and then hopefully overcome it. Just like how I was able to get over my video game addiction, make the choice to fully repent of it, and never come back to it if it was something that caused you to keeping falling.

Yes and always! But don't be that person who keeps asking for forgiveness and then goes back to sin. And when you repent, never go back to it. Jesus says this in the gospels that whoever looks back is not fit for the service of God.

Remember how God was able to save Irsrael after they have been constanly rebeling by sending prophets to warn them about their destruction if they keep on rebeling. But God will save you if you turn to Him and acknowledge that you need Him.

This has really opened my eyes and I think God is telling me something. I gave into sin not too long ago and I regret it deeply. I hate porn so much that I wish I can travel back in time and prevent myself from first looking at it. I keep giving to porn all the time but I know God will help me, all my heart I believe He will. Now I will forsake porn and all other sins I have committed. I hope I find Godly friends that will uplift me and a Godly girlfriend. It might take a long while to find her because of I keep giving into the temptation 90% of the time but I know in my heart that God will help me overcome them once and for all. Forsake means to abandon or give up on someone or something, God never would do something like that. I think when he says he would hand us over to sin he means that God would simply stop convicting us to repent and come back to him. I personally went through this when I first accepted Christ into my life but was still clinging to my sin, and it's a really terrible/dangerous place to be, however as long as you humble yourself and cry out to God for forgiveness and you are willing to turn away from your sin, he will accept you with open arms. It says it in thr bible many times, I'll give you a few for example, Luke 13:2-5. Jesus said this in verses 2-3 that is the highlight of the verse. "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." And also in Revelation 3:14-19, “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’-and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent." You can't just be living for the world when following Jesus. Jesus said this in the Gospels, "If anyone wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me."
